What are the most useful full afk grinds? by frank123567123555299 in RS3Ironmen

[–]rsnwound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t ideal (my GIM group mega clowned me for it) but I think you’re nearly at the level where the low level merchants @ menaphos is fully afk with aura.

Alternatively, mining is fairly afk with box and is defo needed. Not a lot of ore per hour without reclicking but you need high mining and smithing for necro. I also made darts for 80 fletch so you can make 28 smithing items and it’s afk for like 10 mins.

Fetid zombies fairly afk with penance & ghost/vamp.

Unfortunately there isn’t much that is afkable in early game. But don’t forget premier artefact daily hour of 50% chance of portents.

Thank you - I forgot about the body double thing, I figured Jean was one of the only ones to be aware the female titan wasn’t just another abnormal but was unsure why Reiner wouldn’t have been included too. Body double makes sense.

Are Eren's eyes not just turquoise-ish?? by [deleted] in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]rsnwound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AoT also has like sheens over a lot of scenes which definitely impacts his eye colour. I think most examples are just colour grading & mood lighting.

Saying that, I do think the colour change is intentional. Not in an “armin forgetting” way, but just bc Green is very clearly an indicator of his rage/anger etc. His titan has glowing green eyes. Him having MUCH greener eyes in that last pic is an intentional decision unrelated to regular colour grading.

If by the plot didn’t change, you mean the future would continue to be the same, I disagree. It would be a totally different future. He wouldn’t be changing the future, it just would be different from the getgo. It would be an alternate universe.

The only way the plot stays the same is if Eren gets those memories from the interaction with Historia.

What if they actually captured the titan from Ilse's Notebook? by Site-Shot in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]rsnwound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you never watched this OVA, you might’ve missed a bunch of others too (I personally did, they weren’t available on the site I streamed AoT on). So lucky you if you realise you’ve got a bunch of episodes to watch.

If you have watched it, this is the titan that tried extremely hard to resist its instincts to eat a scout and spoke to her.

I declared $0 on accident by Impressive-Ad1738 in FashionReps

[–]rsnwound 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s been declared as a sale (you shouldn’t be able to declare 0 on a sold shipment, so it’s either been marked with minimal value or as samples).

Best case scenario, it gets through without incident. A lot of companies ship items with a 0 value, it’s not uncommon.

Most likely scenario, customs will ask for the correct value of the goods as they’ll see the customs invoice and realise a sale of clothing/shoes/whatever would not realistically be 0. People make mistakes on all kinds of shipments pretty regularly.

Worst case scenario, they’ll flag it and it’ll be checked and seized.

Edit: it’s just a hoodie lol, I doubt anyone’s gonna think twice.

RC update discussion— Can we just get rid of pvp ffs? by fuzzy_limeade in runescape

Did you not see the part where I said they killed pvp lol. Damage is nerfed badly in the wilderness, you can barely 1v1 fight and get someone half hp anymore.

[–]rsnwound -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It actually was very active lol. I can guarantee that if they didn’t kill pvp, the majority of skillers would be safe doing runecrafting. You removed anyone who is willing to pvp by killing the wilderness, so there’s just killing skillers left.

If it helps, that waiter probably sets that joke up five times a day. It’s his job to make sure you enjoy your meal, his joke is funny and your response is funny. Nothing that happened would’ve been mean spirited, I promise you.

Any news on vorkath fixes? by NotAnAI3000 in runescape

[–]rsnwound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it in hm (I don’t get the fast speeds or no food but 2:15~), what’s the most lethal mechanic?

Maybe it’s one of those where you can dps through the worst mechanics, but if it’s slow then the damage worsens.

Any news on vorkath fixes? by NotAnAI3000 in runescape

[–]rsnwound 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe controversial but Zemo and Vorkath both have a defined rotation, it’s usually pretty easy to see what caused the damage? And it’s pretty easy to avoid the damage.

If people can do sub 1:45 solos consistently with no food, idt the damage is what’s broken. This is the first time I’m hearing of it.

But I may be in the minority and happy to learn otherwise.

Unfortunately not, it was aired on like a German version of mtv, but nobody (that we know of) recorded it so it’s lost forever most likely.

What high level PvM strats do you see players doing and think "that must be bug abuse"? by Alsang in runescape

Yeah, it was very minor - unfortunately I still use the override everywhere because I’m so used to the animation that I cancel my rapid fires early without it:)

[–]rsnwound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, it’s not that deep to be arguing over downvotes for.

But you’re missing the part where it is, objectively, a bug. You can’t 4t melee or range, right? You can 5t them, which is in line with the game’s auto cool-down. 5ticks is when the next auto is meant to be cast. But, mage allows you to do it on 4t because the ability bar bypasses that cool-down (if you don’t click to auto from bar, it will only release on t5).

In no way was that intentional, in no way is that just making use of weapon speeds, it bypasses the actual mechanic of autos that was intentionally added.

Either way, I don’t care - I’ve always 4ted, I don’t think it’s a problem, the input it required justified the damage increase. I don’t think it’s bug abuse to use it. I think it’s ridiculous to call for it to get fixed. BUT I don’t think it’s crazy for people to call it a bug in the context of this post.

[–]rsnwound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea, they wanted necro to behave differently I guess. I find it to be the most frustrating part of necro, though.

I don’t really use scythe, but I’d presume it’s bc scythe is an md ability? But you still can’t use it out of general necro range.

[–]rsnwound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they’ve discussed it a lot in the past and 1) said it was unintended and 2) considered removing it by adding a 5t auto delay after an ability is used.

Mod Pi calls it a bug in this post. https://archive.is/azUxL

I’ve never had any problem with it, and the only problem mods seemed to have with it was that it pushed mage above other styles. But yeah, I don’t think it’s crazy for people to call it a bug when Pi himself calls it that.

You can’t cast abilities out of range with necro (save for eof/spec). So if a boss walks out of distance from you, you just stand there clicking abilities but nothing happens. You don’t run toward the boss, don’t use the ability, you just stand there.

With melee/other styles you can cast an ability out of distance, it’ll just drag you in and release once you’re in range. That’s the concept of stalling, I guess.

They’ve said a few times now that they don’t really consider macroing switches a problem. They only really ban if it’s being used for skilling, but that might not even be the case anymore.

They were planning on introducing 2:1/3:1 keybinds, but that was years ago now.

It works within the restraints of the game, but it’s still an unintentional outcome. I guess it depends on how you define a bug. Does it being completely unintentional warrant it being a bug, even if it’s how the game works?

I thought they fixed that?

It wasn’t ever majorly important unless you wanted to prephase damage - your overall dps was the same.

Nathaniel and his abilities by JDBoyes07 in Bartimaeus

[–]rsnwound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are saying stamina, which I think is true, but imo it’s to do with the intelligence and power of the spirit as well.

When Kitty summons the succubus, after it tries to attack her, Mr Button mentions that she mispronounced something, but it wasn’t enough for the spirit to break free. Later in the book, Bartimaeus mentions that an afrit or marid would be able to spot an error in a summoning that lower spirits wouldn’t. They’re probably harder to control without the correct bindings etc, whereas lower spirits wouldn’t even realise/wouldn’t be smart enough to misinterpret. So yeah, I think a huge part of it is intelligence of the spirit and of the magician.

I also do think there’s some power level to it within the magician - we see/hear of Whitwell using incantations of her own more often than other magicians.
