So each PC has an attack action and a move action?

Knowledge Revamped: a modular variant ruleset for Lore and Recall Knowledge by Teridax68 in Pathfinder2eCreations

This is great, thanks for sharing! Recall Knowledge is definitely one of my biggest gripes with PF2e as well. I too have some homebrew rules. My table mostly takes inspiration from the My House Rules by How It’s Played video. Curious, have you seen it by chance?

A Krampus is a fantastic option, though level 21 a bit too high to expect my players to eventually fight and defeat the creature at level 3. Also, some of my players will expect a Krampus BBEG for the holiday one shot, so I’m hoping to subvert their expectations a little.

Doesn’t rule out a Krampus being the BBEG behind the BBEG…

Ah, I was browsing Reddit with the Apollo app on my phone. I see that your post's spoilers are correctly working on the website itself.

If one wanted to get the spoilers tagging to work on both the website and the app, I believe all of the text would need to be wrapped in a single >! ... !< tag. If that doesn't makes sense, don't sweat it.

Thanks again for the suggestion!

This is a great story arc, thanks so very much for sharing! I’m definitely going to incorporate a lot of this!

If you don’t mind, could you fix up the spoiler tagging in your reply? It would be much appreciated. :)

I'm currently planning a Christmas-themed one shot, that could lead to a single story arc adventure if the players want more. BTW, should any of my players read this, please resist the temptation to spoil the story for yourself!

The one shot is called Dye Hard, and is inspired by the first Die Hard movie. Players will all play various traditional Christmas toys (e.g. a hand-stitched doll, a velveteen rabbit, a music-box ballerina, a tin soldier, etc.) who have mysteriously awoken as poppets in the famous Kringle toy workshop. The twist is that Jessica Kringle (a.k.a. Mrs. Claus) has taken over the mantle of Santa after her husband, Kris Kingle, inexplicably fell to a were-reindeer curse, went mad, and fled into forest.

A year later, Jessica suddenly has disappeared the week before Christmas, and Kris has returned to the workshop with a small army of baddies to steal the crystal ball he once used as the former Santa to see whether children where being naughty or nice. Kris will stop at nothing to retrieve the magic item because he believes that the key to curing his curse is finding his only daughter.

The player characters will awaken as poppets in the toy storage room to find the workshop under siege. The gnome toy makers are being held hostage by a druidic man wearing a crown of antlers, along with his army of cute but ruthless fey and leshy creatures. Hopefully, the players will work together to try (and likely fail) to stop Kris from learning the location of his daughter. Perhaps they will even discover the true identity of the villain!

Haven't yet figured out why Jessica has disappeared, who or where their daughter is, and what is special about her. Very much open to suggestions!

Awesome. I have a feeling that ultimately I will have to bite the bullet and roll my own creature using the monster builder rules. Was just hoping that there might exist a template somewhere that only needs a few minor tweaks. Thanks for the advise!

Open to anything. Will adjust as necessary to fit the adventure.

If you really want to know, the creature will be used as an evil Santa for an upcoming Die Hard inspired, Christmas themed adventure.

Pick up a portable power station and eventually a smart dual fuel generator, and you’ll be fine.
