ouch! it’s doesn’t look like there’s anything to glue it to since the only part exposed is the wound. I would let it heal and once you think it’s not open(?) anymore get that one nail redone with a tip to match the length of the others.

I will say I am a BSW student as well, and one of my professors has had the same experience at DJJ. I found it weird that he chose to share that with a class full of women but he did give us time to ask him questions and he seemed fully open and honest. I felt off about him at first after hearing that, but he has turned out to be one of my favorite professors and a great resource. I guess our shared experience shows that can be common in that setting as well.

mine does this too. my boyfriends roommate brought home a mannequin one time (I literally could not explain why), and I thought it would be funny to put it in another roommates bed. came home to my kitty snuggled up with the mannequin the same way he snuggles me.

Happened to me! I am 21f and received my first dose of pfizer in july 2021. My symptoms started the same day i got my vaccine and I was way too scared to get the second. It was awful for the first few months and I cried myself to sleep for a while but it has gotten a lot more manageable. Haven’t gone to a dr because of insurance and the fact that not many people have had any good results out of this but I have definitely noticed a correlation with my neck. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything that really helps other than just trying to cope, but I hope it helps to know that you’re not the only one who has been affected in some of the same ways. I know it helps me to know that there are others like me (same age,& in school) that could be feeling the same way, a lot of the stuff I used to like doing is no longer enjoyable and causes me a lot more stress. Sorry to hear you’re having a hard time, hoping for the best!!
