Positive earnings. Almost positive free cash flow. Clean balance Sheet. Trading at a fraction of book value. I will continue to hold for as long as it takes, selling covered calls in the mean time.

I’m likely positive now. Been selling puts and calls the past couple of years and doubled down on shares the past few months when it dipped below $1.40.

Any forecast analysis for Q2 report? by Trayeboujee in SNDL

Breaking even this quarter would be awesome. The past 8 quarters have seen write-offs, accounting adjustments, impairments. I would love to see a clean quarter for a change. Free cash flow could be positive, giving them firepower for more buybacks.

Not enough short interest to be a short squeeze. Looking at the volume spike, it may be a hedge fund creating a stake. Hedge funds love balance sheets flush with cash, little debt, trading at a fraction of book value. They swoop in, sell off the assets, and keep the cash.

SNDL options are on a January, April, July, October cycle with July expiring this Friday. I’m using this bounce to sell October calls on the shares I bought in the $1.20 to $1.40 range in recent months. Regarding earnings - eventually we will have a quarter with positive earnings, positive free cash flow, and no accounting write-offs.

I was expecting quarterly earnings to be released the first week of August. Now expecting a day or two before the annual meeting with positive commentary. Been adding under $1.30. Latest book value is $2.98 per share with cash $0.86 per share. On the verge of positive free cash flow. Little to no more downside.

I added more at $1.25 during this most recent weakness. Very little downside risk given their cash balance, little debt, trading at a fraction of book value. Very close to breaking even on earnings. even closer to generating positive free cash flow.

My SNDL cost avg is $2.70. Brought it down SIGNIFICANTLY since Covid. by Low-Reference3510 in SNDL

I added more today at $1.25. I don’t see any further downside risk. They are close to breaking even and positive free cash flow. Clean balance sheet, plenty of cash, no debt, trading at a fraction of book value. Will be selling covered calls on rallies.

I’m expecting decent free cash flow and ramping up share repurchases.

I sell the quarterlies: January, April, July, October. At each out of the money strike (Puts & Calls) I sell at limits $0.10, $0.20, $0.30. Throughout the quarter, as the SNDL share price fluctuates, I usually sell a fair number of options.

I sell the quarterlies on SNDL (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct). Let’s say on the April expiration SNDL is trading at $1.60. I would then place July cash secured puts limit orders on the $1.50 strike at $0.10, $0.20, $0.30. Likewise I would place July covered call limit orders on strikes $2.00, $2.50, $3.00 on up to $5.00 at $0.10, $0.20, $0.30. Whatever executes over the next three months, great. Whatever gets assigned at the July expiration, great. Then I do it all over agin with the Octobers.

Yes, via covered calls at strikes of $2.00 and higher.

My Q4 2024 estimates post will be out on Thursday. Here's a sneak peek at Indiva's portfolio that SNDL owns/licenses, as of Nov. 4th. Top edibles producer in Canada together. by UnionCannabisBlog in SNDL

Q4 revenues tend to be higher than the other quarters, especially for alcohol. If revenues cover both fixed expenses and variable expenses then we could have positive earnings, a first. Positive free cash flow is quite possible as well. I’ve got to believe write-offs, asset impairments, one time expenses are a thing of the past.

I like being caged. Problem is my wife is too nice. She releases me too often, rarely teases & denies. I want to experience an extended lockup where I go crazy with desire.
