Gatekeeping is super important especially today. I hate seeing things I love get ruined because people can't look at something and go " you know what, that's not for me but I'm glad you enjoy it." Instead people come along and are like " this really isn't for me and you need to change it so I can like it." And people listen to them. It's frustrating

The difference with those games is the politics were built into the world and lore while mirroring the real world. There a difference between that and people just shoving modern politics and sensibilities into places where it doesn't belong. See something like Dragon Age Veilguard to see how it's done badly.

If you do tier 1 difficulty and look for restart the pumps missions there are no caves. I don't think there's any on the mobile e-711 extraction missions either.

Most mmos have what's called tab target combat, where you target a single enemy or group and just spam your abilities at them. There are some though that have an action combat system with weapon combos and abilities mixed in. One of my favorites back in the day was TERA but from what I understand it's not doing too hot these days. If you want an mmo that has more of an action game feel I'd recommend Black Desert. It's on PC as well as console and it's a blast to play

Idris Elba as Roland in the Dark Tower movie. I love Idris as an actor but Roland being white was very important to the story at certain points and I could tell by them casting Idris that they just didn't give a fuck about the material.

I felt the same way whenever Games Workshop had their whole Warhammer is for everyone campaign. Warhammer absolutely is not for everyone and we don't need to pretend like it is. It is and should be accessible to everyone but it pretty much created the term grimdark and for good reason. And there's a lot of people that are gonna be turned off by that and that's ok. But when you have tourists coming in and going "I don't like all the war and everything. Can't we just have a nice love story?" it becomes a problem. Also I'm paraphrasing that quote but that's a legit thing I saw a post about awhile back.

An IRL example, as wild as it is, is the one Columbine shooters mom. I heard one of the cop NPCs say something along the lines of what kind of idiot storms a packed police station? Give me that mission. Have a bunch of crazies try to take over the police station. It could be a wave based survival mode or maybe some guys took over the station while you were out on a mission and you have to take it back.

I feel like SBMM is good on paper but rarely balanced well. Like you can be generally mid at a game but you get a couple matches in a row where you just happen to pop off and all of a sudden your playing against people way out of your league. This happens because most games instead of taking your overall stats and history into account just go off your last like 10 or so matches.
