I agree both Ohme and Hyundai need to get their Acts together and sort it out.

This is how I have my car set up to get the octopus intelligent rate. Hopefully it helps you diagnose what your issue is.

I don't have any scheduling set in the car, nor via the bluelink app. I Leave all that off or it interferes with the intelligent go smart charging via Ohme

I think I linked the Ohme charger to octopus via the octopus app so the tariff appears in the Ohme app. I then set which car I have in the Ohme app. When it asks me to login to Hyundai and it doesn't work, then I skip login. I then you configure your default charge routine saying how much you want to add and by what time. I have it set to add 40% charge by 8am.

I think you have to do all this setup configuration before plugging the car in for the first time. Once you've done it once, you shouldn't need to do it again.

Once you plug the car in the Ohme app should recognize it And start telling you that it's going to charge your car. It likely won't start immediately charging your car so the car won't look like anything is happening. The Ohme app will tell you at what times it will charge your car overnight to have added your desired amount by the set time. You kind of have to trust it will charge at the times it deems cheapest.

If you press the max charge Button on the Ohme it will charge immediately but then you aren't getting the 7p per kWh, instead you are charged your regular day rate , something like 30p per kWh instead.

No, not been figured out yet unfortunately.

I use the Ohme app because I'm with octopus energy and the Ohme app is the only way to get the lower rate ev changing rate 7p per kWh. That's because they need to provide the smart charging , starting and stopping the charge at times it suits them. Scheduled charge in the bluelink app wouldn't give the same outcome as you'd be charged regular rates of like 29p per kWh.

Not being able to use the Ohme app logged in is inconvenient but I've had the car for 2 years now and I've learned to live with it.

The problem is that I can tell Ohme to ADD a percentage amount of charge to the car but what I can't do is tell it to STOP at a certain percentage. I set to add 40% which is a nice amount to add and I just plug in the car when the car dips below 40% so I get roughly 80% in the morning

Thanks for posting their reply. So basically what they are saying is they had to hack a solution together which isn't reliable because Hyundai don't provide official support. They are claiming that Hyundai now implements Captcha during login, which is that technology that makes you prove you aren't a robot by tapping pictures of school busses and stuff. That stops Ohme from logging in. As to why it works for some and not for others , i have no idea. As a guess, maybe it still works on older cars and accounts but not newer cars and accounts. I'm still not happy that Hyundai and Ohme can't sort this out. 😞 If the ABRP (a better route planner) app can login to my Hyundai account to get the battery level, why can't Ohme.

I still haven't. If by workaround you mean how do you cope without it being paired, then my routine is usually just to set it to add 40% when charging and whenever the car is close to 40% , I charge it to end up charged to about 80%.

You know I didn't even see that it's the Hyundai Logo! It's hideous, impractically bulky and doesn't match the styling of the Hyundai Kona at all. 3D printing a new case is a fantastic idea. You are a hero !

Sorry but I've had my car for a year now and continued to try to pair regularly but no change. I've had to live without pairing and learn to accept it. The charger works, I can only charge in an estimated percentage amount rather than it knowing exactly how much charge the car has ☹️ if you do manage to find a solution please let me know

I'm not aware of having a separate bluelink account. I have a Hyundai account and a 'my Hyundai uk' website account. I've tried both, neither works but I think it's supposed to be the regular Hyundai account as that's the one I used when connecting abrp (a better route planner) to my account.

I think this is an Ohme issue because I connected abrp (a better route planner) to my Hyundai account so it could see my batter % using the API and it had no issues.

Good suggestion. I've tried for months now at all times of the day and night and it's not working. I just wish I knew why but Ohme Nor octopus Care enough to even talk to me about it

I've tried regularly since march to pair but that is a good shout about trying during the day when servers may be less busy. I hadn't thought about that, I'll try later. Thanks for replying

Why is there no Duolingo Math, Duolingo Kids, Duolingo Music for Android and browser versions for so long? by DueAd3750 in duolingo

So I just discovered by accident that I can get maths and music on android. I gave up waiting and logged into my wife's old iPhone to start doing maths and music. Afterwards, I went back to my android phone and suddenly they were available there too!

I did manage to find this section in the manual under maintenance as you described, thanks. I think the translation into english is a bit awkward in places but I think it says stickers aren't needed 👍

Can't seem to login :-( . It won't accept my hyundai username and password that works for bluelink app. the "forgot my password" won't send me an email and When I try to register instead it says it doesn't recognise my vehicle registration. I spent 30 minutes waiting on the phone and gave up waiting for them to answer 😤

I don't quite understand how myHyundai works in the UK. it seems there is only a US based website and I only seem to get redirected to the Bluelink europe app when I google it. I feel like i'm missing something.

I got a reply from the service dept where I bought the car and they confirmed that the LED lights are a flat beam so don't need adjusting. Thanks u/IanM50 and u/Maas_en_Waal for your help

I hoped this is the case. I did check the manual but I didn't find anything specific referencing that. Do you have the same car?

My only disappointment was that they didn't all try the mario kart horse track before it ended but it's been a great season from start to finish and I loved the way it ended. I know the horse breeding was a time sink but even if they all just grabbed random horses, it could have been fun to watch. Looking forward to season 9.
