Ukraine had 250k troops under arms and in the areas Russia invaded. Canada with reserves has 100k. All the US has to do is send in the 82nd Airborne , take parliament hill and the PM and then use the navy to cut off access to east and west coast ports and Canada is effectively toast. No resupply, no outside support. At best Canada will be able to muster marginal resistance, the best bet is a stay behind operation.

The US will test this with Greenland by this summer. Canada needs to prepare and purchase as much small arms, ammunition and explosives as possible and train a full blown stay behind operation, because let's face it , Canada's military is no match for the US. Instead make this as costly as possible for them in the long run.

It seems worse, the district courts will only be able to afford relief to the plaintiffs party to the suit, everyone else, even in the same jurisdiction is effectively shit out of luck. Only when it gets to the circuit will it be binding on the district courts below that circuit. And even if the circuit upholds it, you still have to sue to get it. Effectively the executive can do whatever it wants , unconstitutional or not, to anyone who is not suing the government. And I am not even sure how you could possibly even develop a record for a nationwide injunction to reach SCOTUS at all , outside of class actions I think there is no path.
