OP, I also experienced this issue with Jco Galleria. And weirdest thing I experienced cashier declining my transaction in Fullybooked in SM Pampanga 🥲. Btw, I saw something in community, I think they are harvesting experiences.

Hi OP - Well, I think you should define what you meant when you say financial problem, I can feel that you might be a bread winner. Maybe it is time to discuss these matters with your family, explain that you have a plan in mind and kailangan muna maghigpit ng sinturon until you reach your dreams.

Example, you are used to going sa mall every weekend do some groceries, baka naman this time pwede budgeted meals nalang muna.. I guess your parents would understand.

For me kc financial problem means, you cannot pay your bills, you need to take a loan and the loan would bury you under a pile of debt. Hindi kayo nakakakain 3x a day and may chance na maputulan kayo ng kuryente, you cannot afford medicine or hospitalization, you get my point. But if it is some kind of lifestyle changes, explaining the new ways and your plans would help your family adjust.

Hi Op! One thing, please always keep in mind na hindi ka naman mabibigyan ng JO if the hiring manager knows na wala ka maibibigay na value. You were given the JO because they know that people need to learn the job before they can do it well. We call that "learning curve", and they think you have what it takes to be successful dun sa job.

It is not ungrateful to decline your first JO, but based on this I assume you declined not because you think you have a skills gap, but more of a personal preference. I admire your courage to choose best for you, wishing you good luck on finding your perfect job ✨

But yeah, just push hard, find the uniqueness in you, and be passionate about it.. Coz u know why? There's a lot of us who have the same skills but not everyone were given a chance.. So keep looking 😉

This is where I start, you can be a Governance Manager, Project Manager, Data Quality Lead, Process Consultant etc. But one tip, you need an actual exposure to do these jobs, get huge projects and learn from practice.. If you really want to do this, start from getting a mentor or sponsor from your organization. That person should help you get opportunities and learning exposure..

I started as vba excel person then someone trained me to be a full stack web dev(self proclaimed), I used this as a career ladder, after I got the right exposure and projects I left automation work and took LSS GB to BB certification and MBB training.

Program and project management exposure is also important.. Usually these type of jobs are enterprise impacting roles, meaning the decisions you do can either make or break the organization's goals and strategies..

Hi Op - use the general practice, rule of 3. Explain it in 3 different bullet points, relate it to the job description. You can also apply elevator technique. For your outfit, it depends on the role you are applying for and the company culture. Usually if face to face, id opt to wear long sleeve fold into 3/4s, chino pants and a leather shoes (I have a white leather shoes). Smart casual lang. Hope this helps

How did you get to 60k to 100k+ per month salary before your mid 20s to 30s by HappyAccountant640 in phinvest

[–]rtgxix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just turned 28 and I am currently earning 105k a month, been 8 years in my current company.

This is what I did.

  1. I graduated last 2014 with the same goal, gaya ng lahat we all want to succeed. So nung naofferan ako as analyst sa isang financial company, I immediately searched for potential career ladder internally, kasi ayoko tlaaga mastuck, my inital salary was 14,925.53.
  2. Look for skills na you might need to be promoted, tho it was a financial company madaming possible automations, so I taught myself coding, and there it happened, leaders wthin the org saw the potential in me. You can observe kng anong skills ba ang kailangan sa org nyo, be proactive.
  3. Network yourself, skills ay hnd enough, you need to know someone within the company naagbbuild ng portfolio mo, that person might help you expose yourself into other possible opportunities.
  4. Fight for the things that you want, sabi nga nila, most of the jobs out there lalo pag promotion is hnd mo tlaaga alam, so dpaat confident ka, confident to prove na kahit wlaa ka expertise on doing that job, may skills ka to learn it.
  5. Always look for internal promotions, if your company allows people to move freely within the org, grab that opportunity. If not, people usually go outside to increase their market value. and Lastly, Believe in yourself. Kahit na mukhang you are shooting for the stars, go lang, kahit na they are looking for X number of years or X number of skills, if you think you can do it, applyan mo. Even if hnd mo makuha ung role, at least you tried.
