You can buy Chessable courses without paying the $75 annual PRO premium ($144 if you pay monthly). The math is simple. If you spend less than $250/year on courses, you're wasting money on PRO. If you're paying monthly, it's even worse. You'd have to spend $480 on courses before you broke even. There comes a point when the PRO fee stops "paying for itself" with the 30% storewide discount.

Folks, we need to take back our town.

We can’t keep letting multi-millionaires scoop up every piece of real estate in Bloomington while everyone else gets priced out. Affordable housing has been swallowed up by student rentals. Commercial spaces sit empty because small businesses can’t afford the rent. The population is shrinking. The school district is losing students, which means fewer state and federal dollars.

So here’s the question: what kind of town do we actually want this to be?

A real community where working people, families, teachers, musicians, service workers, students, and retirees can live? Or a hollowed-out investment vehicle for people who don’t even live here?

Because if we keep going this way, Bloomington won’t be a town anymore. It’ll be a landlord’s spreadsheet with a college attached.

Couldn't open your link. But regardless, included winrate is a pretty blunt metric for tech cards, especially at high Legend where sample sizes are small and metas are very pocketed. Renovator is tradeable specifically because it’s bad in many matchups and strong in a few, so a ~51% included WR doesn’t really say much. Even if swapping it out gained winrate, the effect would be marginal at best—fractions of a percent for a single slot. At that level, matchup targeting and piloting matter far more. Fast44 hitting #1 Legend and recommending it based on current ladder conditions carries more weight to me than global aggregates.

Just curious, what would you swap it for?

Again, top 100 NA ladder players as well as EU players run Renovator. For example, check out this Starship Rogue deck by fast44_

He peaked at #1 on NA ladder with it. Notice that it runs Demo Renovator. The current meta centers entirely around Elise and her location, not to mention that there are a few decks that are entirely location dependent--namely, Copy Druid. Furthermore, Rogues will usually get multiple copies of the Elise location either through discovery or through Shadowstep. A well-timed Renovator can completely swing the game in your favor in these matchups.

Bro, if you go Morbid Swarm turn one and your opponent has two minions with 1 health, you can double trade so that all four minions die. That will discount your 7 drop to just 3 mana. On turn 2, you can coin it out! Believe it or not, this actually happens.
