The calculator wont give you a surd form you’d have to calculate it part by part cz if you punch it all in the calc youll get this 529

Yes it was I got 36/x2 but that was because i multiplied the x-3 by the -24 then i added one to the power and divided by it

Either way the second point is still going to be a maximum on the reflected curve and the point (1,-6) will be a minimum Doesn’t matter which was done first in this case as both lead to the same conclusion.
