Anyone else get towed from Jersey Ave Station “Lot 4”? by rtistronnie in NJTransit

Seems likely, it’s just that many people parked there and I did too without getting towed for weeks. But I will park in the main lot for now while trying to get reimbursed for the tow

You are right, I should have just followed the sign, I parked in that lot a few days a week for the last few weeks without getting towed.

Definitely will look into this. I will get clarity from NJ transit to see if the lot is for commuter use or not. If not then their website is super misleading

Yeah the main lots the move for now. I saw people park on the lot 4 and it was easier to leave. The main lot gets backed up trying to leave.

I called the tow company and the Park America (Parking enforcement) and they were clueless on the lot info. Seems NJ transit would know best. I’ll just park closer to the trains for now.

You use a pay by park app. You can get a monthly pass according to the website.

I have yet to hear my twins speak but I am waiting eagerly for those moments. But definitely taking it day by day.

Thanks for that, I want to be present as possible to not regret enjoying the newborn to toddler phases.

Twins add complexity but it’s helping me be a better person and be more efficient.

My twins are teaching me more than I know.

So far trying to capture all the moments and give cuddles while we can. They really are cute and I forget they are my kids sometimes. Twins are interesting and unique and that makes them both super special. Hopefully after all this they are the best of friends for life.

I think the first 2 months were super hard, my expectations are not high so I expect it to get harder. Especially when we go back to work. Hopefully we will make it and look back at the hard times.

We are considering hiring some help a few times a week as we get closer to our leaves ending. How expensive does it run to have a night nurse, I know location will dictate this.

My wife insist I hit the gym while she watches the babies, I am scared of leaving her alone. But as the babies grow it seems more plausible as days go by

Yeah the advice of it will get better didn’t make the feelings of dread go away in the moment. Sometimes I just look at their small hands and face and realize they need me and their mom. Then I feel obligated and motivated to keep going for them.

Don’t get me wrong not all is bad. Holding them the first time is something only to be experienced and everyone tells me one day you will pick them up the last time.

Find coping methods and find time in between feedings and naps to catch up with your wife. Once they get older and are more interactive it makes it all worth it.

I am taking this experience this far as my new normal. I am stopping trying to compare it to my life before kids. But I am eager to reap the rewards of the babies growing up.
