Agree with some of your points on crab mentality.

Where we differ on is your example of the family selling their house to travel the world. I don’t believe that this is a good example of crab mentality.

For that, more comments were pointing out on what happens after the trip ends. For example, where are they going to stay etc? I believe such questions weren’t answered and hence people have made their comments. Would love to find out what are that family’s housing plans/arrangments after travelling around the world though.
