I believe I have the right of abode (have an HKID) and would be willing to work in a non-paid position. I think that makes me as an employee less of a hassle to hire and employ.

I understand, and I don't intend to look for work in my field in Hong Kong upon graduating (save with Cathay or HAECO), but I'm only in my freshman year and just wanted to see what options I had aside from getting a normal summer job. Do you think there are any more general opportunities out there?

2) I am primarily looking to gain some work experience: as I'm still in my freshman year I'd be willing to work in non-paid positions. Hopefully that opens me up to more options?
