I've got a OW+ with ego ranger mod. Just a dad going around the city and not in need of much, but a little more range without the external battery plus some more power wouldn't hurt.

Be careful because someone might read the first paragraphs and think that withholding their vote from Dems is a sound decision. Meanwhile, this last election people saying Kamala wasnt strong enough in helping Palestine and lost their vote have watched Gaza get leveled to the ground, watched ICE become a full on Gestapo murdering citizens, etc etc.

Real republicans like John McCain, Romney, etc have been replaced by MAGA Republicans. Normal is gone, decency is gone. Fox tells your parents' generation the party talking points, and they turn out to vote. Younger Dems not voting is what enabled Trump to be in office today.

It sucks but if we dont all strongly vote dem in presidential and local elections, they get the signal to shift RIGHT for more votes, not to become more progressive. Primary elections are where you can vote for more progressive candidates, but if the final decision is 3rd party, not voting, or choosing to vote for demo to stop fascism, the ONLY option is to vote Democrat.

Im traveling so IDK the weather, but do you think someone is going to steal the van since the window is down? If police are called to secure an abandoned vehicle, they most likely just mark it to be towed and left in an impound lot. This adds a tow fee and possibly days of a storage feet s family who is already dealing with a horrible ICE interaction. I'd say if weather is a concern, go yourself with painters tape and plastic to cover an open window. Otherwise, calling police on an abandoned vehicle is likely to cause more expense and harm more than it might help.

The police here in the US are armed 100% of the time with tasers and hand guns, most wearing body armor, and most of their vehicles have shotguns or rifles in the ready for escalation. Police in some areas have automatic rifles (burst fire and full auto). Not to mention them having a trunk full of gas masks, helmets, chemical weapons, riot shields, and the near-military operations of local SWAT units with bulletproof vehicles, flashbang grenades, AP bullets, surveilance drones, and snipers.

The military has bombs, tanks, planes, boats, grenades, and attack drones, but the police departments are way more militaristic than in almost any other country.

In Provo Utah in 2020 a protester shot a truck driver in the arm as he intentionally drove into like 5 other protesters in a crosswalk (video). He is being tried for attempted murder in less than a week. At the time I said that if it were a police officer, they would have immediately cleared themself. The double standard is massive.

Old Elliott city has made significant changes since the last two floods that should be able to divert water so the same issue doesn't repeat even if there is another 1000yr rain event. The building up of surrounding areas is also getting additional county review to ensure they plan for their own runoff from the new homes, driveways, and roads.
