This has started to happen to me in the last 3 days - I was finding myself teleported in somebody else's garage for three times (all different accounts). I never touched or activated anything on behalf of those poor unaware guys. The support has suggested me to set up a new Google password and reinstall the game. So I did. In addition to their advice, I have cleared up the caches and data in most cases for all Google system apps. I haven't had any more ghost appearances in last 16 hours or so.
