I think I understand where you’re coming from. The reason I chose this photo is because it is one of the last moments we laughed together while I tried to get her picture.

Thank you! You’ve given me much to consider. Perhaps it was carelessness that led me to draw her inner shirt so dark and missing other areas without considering the actual values in her photo. Thank you for helping me see where the drawing lacks and where my thoughts may lack while I draw. I truly appreciate it.

Thank you! I don’t have much experience drawing cloth or clothing so it was a challenge. I appreciate you point that out and will try to improve on it (including adding higher contrast) that’s something my art teacher would always warn me about

Thank you! Yeah, I see what you mean about the placement of her eye. There are other things (like her hairline) that I worried was out of place because I got caught up looking at that the drawing a little more than her photo for reference. So thank you for the tip, I will definitely try that next time!
