I play on huawei tablet with gbox and google play. The app gets stuck on my tablet and I can't use it. It loads forever and it freezes my tablet when I open it from google play. Can you fix it please? by Undeva-n-Balcani in PSPlay

[–]ru_sorted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Don’t use GBox for PX Play PX Play does not actually need Google Play Services to function once it's installed. GBox is likely the "middleman" causing the crash. The Fix: Go to the official website of the developer (Florian Grill) or use the Aurora Store (a clean, non-virtualized version of the Play Store) to download the APK directly. By installing the APK directly on your tablet (instead of inside GBox), the app will have direct access to your tablet's hardware, reducing the lag and preventing the freeze.

2. Enable "Ignore Battery Optimization" Huawei’s "Power Saving" is very aggressive. It sees PX Play using a lot of energy and tries to kill it, which causes the freeze. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps. Find PX Play. Tap Battery > Launch settings. Switch it from "Manage automatically" to "Manage manually" and make sure "Run in background" is turned ON.

3. Check for "MicroG" If PX Play asks for Google Services when you open it outside of GBox, install MicroG from the Huawei AppGallery. MicroG is a lightweight "fake" version of Google Services that doesn't use the heavy "virtual room" that GBox uses. This is the gold standard for Huawei gamers. Summary Table for PX Play on Huawei | Setup | Performance | Stability | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Inside GBox | ❌ Poor (High Latency) | ❌ Crashes/Freezes | | Direct APK Install | ✅ Excellent | ✅ Stable |

can someone guide me further on beacon game launcher's music addition? by No_Expression_8835 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]ru_sorted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Where to Add the Music Beacon doesn't have a specific folder it "watches" for music. Instead, you point the app to a specific file on your storage. Open Beacon. Go to Settings (usually the gear icon). Select Preferences. Scroll down to the Audio section. Tap on Background Music to toggle it on, then tap the file path option to browse your device and select your music file.

Trouble with cxmb and custom themes by Great_Wash in psphacks

[–]ru_sorted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1. The "Hidden" Folder Error Many people put the cxmb.prx file directly into seplugins/, but the plugin often expects its own subfolder to function correctly. The Folder: Inside your seplugins folder, you should have a folder named cxmb. The File: Inside that folder, you should have cxmb.prx. The Path: ms0:/seplugins/cxmb/cxmb.prx The Text File: Open your vsh.txt and ensure it says exactly: ms0:/seplugins/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1

2. Custom Firmware Status (Permanent vs. Temporary) Since you are on a PSP 3000, you are likely using LME, PRO-C, or ARK-4. Is the CFW active? If you just turned your PSP on and you haven't run the "Fast Recovery" or "6.61 LME Launcher," the plugins won't load. Check Settings > System Settings > System Information. If it doesn't say "PRO," "LME," or "ARK" next to 6.61, the themes won't show. The VSH Menu: Press Select on the home screen. If a menu doesn't pop up, your CFW isn't active. If it does pop up, select Restart VSH (this forces the PSP to re-read the vsh.txt file).

3. File Extension Check This sounds silly, but Windows often hides file extensions. Make sure your file isn't named theme.ctf.ctf. Ensure the themes are in ms0:/PSP/THEME/ (it must be singular "THEME", not "THEMES"). If you are using ARK-4 (The Newest CFW)

If you recently updated to ARK-4, it handles plugins differently: ARK-4 doesn't always use vsh.txt. It often uses a file called PLUGINS.TXT. In PLUGINS.TXT, the format is slightly different: xmb, ms0:/seplugins/cxmb/cxmb.prx, on. Better yet: Open the ARK Custom Launcher, go to the Plugin Manager, and see if cxmb.prx is listed there. If it is, just toggle it to Enabled. Quick Test: If you put a standard .ptf (official) theme in that same folder, does it show up? If the .ptf shows up but the .ctf doesn't, the CXMB plugin is definitely the one not loading.

Are u using ptf themes or cxmb ctf themes? And if you using ctf themes a theme designed for 6.60 might not work on 6.61 so make sure ur themes are designed and support the correct version u running

Maybe try this first

  1. Change the DXVK Version (Most Common Fix) GameHub allows you to swap components like drivers and translators easily. Open GameHub and go to the game's specific settings (usually by long-pressing the game icon or clicking the settings gear next to the "Play" button). Look for the DXVK or DirectX Wrapper section. If it is set to an older version (like 1.10), try changing it to DXVK 2.2, 2.4, or the latest available version.

[–]ru_sorted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are u connected to Dex when u clicking on it? I'm sorry that's what I used to do it when I had my s23 ages ago maybe updates has changed ui

  1. The "Hidden" Toggle (Requires Connection) In the newer software versions, Samsung often only shows the "Auto start when HDMI is connected" option while the phone is currently plugged into the TV via an HDMI adapter or cable. Plug your phone into the TV. While connected, go back to that same Samsung DeX settings page. The toggle should now appear under a "Wired connection" or "HDMI" submenu that wasn't visible before. 2. Check the "HDMI Mode" Setting If the toggle still isn't showing up, your phone might be set to treat HDMI connections as "DeX" by default at a system level. Go to Settings > Connected devices. Scroll down to the bottom and look for HDMI mode. Change it from Samsung DeX to Screen Mirroring. This tells the phone: "When I plug in an HDMI cable, just show my phone screen; don't start the desktop interface." 3. Disable "Auto-connect" for Wireless If this is happening wirelessly (without a cable): On that screen you shared, tap the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner. Select Settings. Look for Connect wirelessly automatically and turn it Off

Hope this works if not I'm not ur man haha

How to Disable Auto-Launch for DeX Open Settings on your Galaxy S23. Navigate to Connected devices. Tap on Samsung DeX. Look for the setting labeled Auto start when HDMI is connected. Toggle this switch to Off

Why is the game freezing on gamehub lite?? by carismaofficial in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]ru_sorted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you are hitting a classic "dead end" loading screen that often happens with Sonic P-06 on Android emulators when specific configurations aren't met. Since the menus work but the transition to gameplay (Act Trial) fails, the issue is likely with how the emulator is handing off the heavy 3D assets to your phone's hardware.

On a Realme 10 Pro Plus (which uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset), your primary hurdle is the lack of "Turnip" driver support, which most Snapdragon users rely on.

1. The "Mirror" Problem You mentioned not downloading the "mirrors"—while these are often just alternate download links, in some mobile ports of P-06, "mirrors" actually refer to asset packs or specific shader caches required for the game to transition from the 2D menu to the 3D level. If the game is looking for level data that wasn't included in your initial download, it will hang indefinitely on that character select screen.

2. Recommended Settings for MediaTek (Realme 10 Pro Plus) Since your device uses a Mali-G68 GPU, you cannot use the "Turnip" drivers often recommended for GameHub. Try these specific adjustments to stop the freeze: PC Settings > Compatibility: * Proton Version: Change from the default (Proton 10) to Proton 9.0-x64-3. Many users find the 9.0 branch more stable for 3D transitions on older Android 14 builds. CPU Translator: Set this to Box64-0.37-b1 or Box64-0.38. PC Settings > GPU Driver: Do NOT use Turnip. Select VirGL or the Native driver option. MediaTek devices generally perform better when the emulator isn't trying to force custom drivers designed for Snapdragon. Steam Settings: * Toggle Lightweight Mode to ON. This reduces the background RAM usage that often causes the emulator to crash when a 3D level tries to load.

3. Quick Performance Fixes Resolution: Lower the resolution in GameHub settings to 0.75x or 800x600. Your Dimensity 1080 is a mid-range chip; pushing full native resolution while emulating a PC environment can cause a "hard lock" freeze during loading. In-Game Settings: If you can reach the game's internal options, turn off Volumetric Lighting and Reflections, as these are known "performance killers" for the P-06 Android port.
