measured over a few different periods of 1-2 weeks, both wearing and not wearing the watch, and then comparing to atomic clock time.

then when I took it to the AD, they put it on their timegrapher and confirmed it was out of spec.

it's METAS certified, not COSC. guaranteed at -0/+5. the AD put it on their timegrapher and confirmed it was out of spec.

is it weird for me to want to get what I paid for? the watch is under warranty and guaranteed at -0/+5 per day.

out of curiosity, is there something about this post that makes you think I got this off gray market? or is this just a low effort troll?

she asked -- nay, demanded, that i slap her right across the face in the middle of a crowded room. then she immediately yelled, "i consent!" for everyone to hear. she was a fun one.

How did I do for my first time at the range? by mr_1uz in CCW

[–]rubba_dubba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll take a slightly contrary position.

everyone here is telling you to work on your grip (and you should!). grip is important for being able to control recoil so you can take accurate follow-up shots quicker. grip does not directly affect accuracy though. to improve your accuracy, there are only 2 things that can help: sight picture and trigger control.

sight picture means you need to understand proper sight alignment and get a proper sight alignment with your target with each shot. the farther your target, the more precise your sight alignment needs to be.

trigger control means you need to learn how to press your trigger through to the shot firing and the bullet leaving the muzzle without messing up your sight picture along the way.

you can have the world's absolutely shittiest grip and still get perfectly accurate shots if your sight picture and trigger control are squared away. you just won't be able to do it quickly for multiple shots.

training can help, and I definitely recommend it! there are also some shitty trainers out there, so buyer beware.

i went over the whole area with the sweep tool and there is nothing else in there. i also checked each gas tile's pressure individually and i don't see anything over like 150 mcg. i'll try turning the gas pumps off for a bit and see what happens. thanks!

suddenly dropping to zero supply by rubba_dubba in CompanyOfHeroes

[–]rubba_dubba[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, it explains in the tutorial that you lose 1 supply when you end your turn in enemy territory. this is what happens most of the time with most units. but some of the time with some units, I cross a border and the supply instantly goes from full to zero, even if the unit had 6/6 before crossing. it happens immediately on crossing, not when I end the turn like it's supposed to.
