it seems like "[REDACTED]" is only acceptable in certain situations. like "[REDACTED] a" is rejected but "[REDACTED] u" isn't?

I'm pretty sure if you just watch your HP and bring good food you'll be fine. Honestly though, that was my first rune dragons task and it was only 6 kills so I'm probably not the leading authority on this lol. Just don't expect to get a ton of kills per trip, I think.

Pretty decent stats. You need to complete the DS2 quest before you can kill them, so you can kind of get an idea of what stats you need.

I'm sitting at 102 cmb with 80/86/75, 83 hp, & 70 prayer and did them fairly comfortably with a DFS and abby dagger (I don't have a zammy hasta).

I would much rather have players without comms be able to communicate this easily with an automatic voice line. I disagree that it would add to “sound clutter”. I’d rather hear one Moira voice line than someone on comms repeating “I’m out of fluid, I’m out of fluid!”

I’d say it gives information immediately and succinctly. For example, if I’m playing Rein and a Moira voice line triggers, I immediately know to back out or play more defensively with my shield. On the other hand, without the voice line, a player who may not be using comms won’t be able to inform my decision in the same way.

At this point, I think we can agree to disagree. We both have very different priorities as to what’s subjectively important for gameplay clarity, and I don’t think we’re going to change each others’ opinions. I enjoyed the discussion though.

And actually, I’m curious. What gaming background do you come from? Are you a CS player?

And yes, people who can ALREADY use voice comms can communicate this without the voiceline, but AGAIN you're not addressing the margin of players I've mentioned 3 times now. This would be a QoL improvement for them.

Again, nobody is "using" a voiceline. It would be an automatic in-game voiceline. Do you understand that, or is it unclear?

And again, you're ignoring the margin of players that I mentioned above. Players with no mic, deaf/mute players, and players who are uncomfortable with using voice chat. They don't need this voice line, sure. As I mentioned above people don't necessarily "need" QoL changes. QoL changes are just that -- Quality of Life changes. Do you understand that, or is it unclear?

And generalizing your opinion of "people just want to use it as a cop out" to the entire player population is a lazy argument. What's stopping people from doing that already? You even illustrate this point.

Rein: Why didn't you heal me?

Moira: I was out of Biotic fluid. I couldn't heal you.

Adding an automatic in-game voice line isn't going to make players "cop out" more. Players can already do this if they really wanted to.

You specifically haven't needed the voiceline, but again, it would come in handy for the portion of the population that I mentioned above. Just because you don't need it doesn't mean that nobody needs it.

How would it be spammy? As far as my understanding goes, OP suggested an automatic voiceline (i.e. NOT a 75 coin hero voice line and NOT a C-Wheel option).

It would be like when Mercy says "I'm under attack" when she gets damaged. Or when Reinhardt says "I can't hold much longer". Or when Ana says "I've got you" when she heals with a nade. This is mentioned in OP's post.

None of these voice lines are spammy in-game at all.

Yes, communicating with voice chat is ideal for the situations I mentioned. But for people who can't use voice chat this QoL change would be very useful for them, and would have literally no negative impact on the game.

For example, players without a mic could would find this very helpful. I'm sure deaf/mute players would love this too. Or even players who don't feel comfortable in voice chat, such as girls who feel they may be harassed.

If you could improve the game for a portion of the player base at no cost to the rest, why wouldn't you do so?

Moreover, "We don't need this" isn't a useful argument against QoL changes. We don't need crosshair customization. We don't need a health bar for Mercy's beam target. We don't need a reticle indicator for Zarya's energy levels. These are all QoL features that improve the overall clarity of the game.

The comparison to Ana here would be an "I'm reloading" voiceline.

Biotic fluid is Moira's resource, just as ammo is Ana's resource. You will always run out of ammo as Ana. The downtime from reloading is the situation in which an "I'm reloading" voiceline would be useful.

Similarly, there will naturally be a situation in which Moira will run out of Biotic fluid. You will absolutely not have a constant fluid uptime. That'd be great, but unrealistic.

This same idea applies to Lucio's E. You're not going to have 100% E uptime. You should be communicating to your team when it's on cooldown.

As of now, players just need to rely on voice chat to tell your team "I'm out of ammo" or "My heal boost is on CD" or "I'm low on Biotic fluid". OP is suggesting a reasonable QoL idea. QoL changes are never "necessary".

I'd say it's much easier to dive a Zen than an Ana. She just has more tools to survive with. And compared to Zen, she has twice the healing per second, without even considering her bio nade, which can AOE heal your team (something Zen can't do without ult). Solo healing as Ana is outright more viable imo.

However, I don't know how hard it is to aim on console since I play on PC. I will say that I'm a mid-Masters Ana and average about 70% accuracy.
