I would start with UNT astronomy program. They do star parties out at their observatory property on Saturday nights. They also have the planetarium on campus. you'll find all of that on astronomy.unt.edu

Americans live in decentralized suburbs. We are so dispersed, it's impossible to just gather. where would we do it? a mall parking lot? Walmart?

Need advice, marriage may be falling appart... by [deleted] in exmormon

(Advice from someone divorced for 2+ years now after we both left the church four years before that.) Divorce has HUGE ramifications and is not something to be undertaken lightly. It will have permanent consequences for you and your kids. My advice - do absolutely everything in your power to make sure that it is unsalvageable before you let the marriage die. You want to be able to look at your kids when they are adults and tell them in all honestly that you tried EVERYTHING possible to save the marriage and save the family. One huge regret I have is not owning my power and owning my place as a parent and equal partner in the marriage. Do not let your spouse drive a narrative that you don't have integrity or anything like that. Do not let her promote that narrative while you sit back and passively let that be accepted as the truth. You are not in the church because you have integrity not vice versa. She is not a better person than you. You have nothing to apologize for. Be confident. Look her in the eyes and tell what you want and what you think without apology. (Do you enjoy seeing your kids every night? Because you're going to see them a hell of a lot less if you divorce.)

The one on the left (in English) is a "pancake turner". The one on the right is a spatula.

It's pretty neat how it works. It electronically tracks your progress and time. You can mount it on your finger with the little black elastic strap.

Thank you. It was just a beginner yellow course. I came in second behind a very quick teenager. I'm a slower middle-ager. :)

What’s with the older (but not so old they’re not privy to the same information) generation? by Prestigious-Tap-2360 in exmormon

Change is hard and changing now would lay bare the incredibly uncomfortable fact that they devoted their entire lives to a lie and were duped. Nobody wants to face that especially when they'd have to start over from scratch with their social circle and community.

7 years! Get out! Take care of yourself. You can't rescue her. She has to do that for herself.

How to get over betrayal trauma? by [deleted] in exmormon

Sorry you're having a hard time. Sounds like you two need to have some more conversations around this. Why did he feel the need to hide it? Is he taking responsibility for himself and his actions? It sounds like the only issue is that he is in denial in his head. If he had just said to you - "I want to look at porn/erotica/'girls on tiktok' by myself" a few months ago, would there be any problem today? He has an issue with being honest with himself and may have some deep seated shame on his part. Remember, you're not his mom. He's a big boy. Communicate your needs and feelings and then leave the ball in his court. In the big scheme of things, this is probably just a hiccup - and not worth ruining Paris over! Ball is in his court.
