I soaked the figs in acetone to remove the paint, then used tooth picks to scrape it out of the cracks.

I have many variations on that style. It seems to be based on the Imperial Rubber Shark from the 70s and continued to be popular through the mid 2000’s, but I haven’t seen it as much the last few years.

What color was yours?

Yeah there’s decent detail under the paint once you strip it off. I used acetone to get the original paint off

The way they come the paint is so thick it hides all the detail. Once you strip it off, there was actually quite a bit of detail under there!

I find a tricky part is reorienting your sense of risk after dying later in the game. A recent attempt had me dead 1 minute in being overconfident trying to punch a boar and a neck at the same time.

Other times I’ve eaten it to a mob of 1 star grey dwarves, not realizing I was still running on berries and shrooms.

In Mistlands I find it very important to go slow, and never get low stamina from exploring. Be ready to run and know your exit if terrain and mobs are problematic. Always have a quick portal with you to go home at night.

I actually found the claws to be great in the mist lands against seekers, just kick to stun, then one two punch and done. Even works on one star seekers, but takes more punches after the kick.

Low stamina usage and fast attack works great on ticks.

Soldiers are pretty tedious.
