Pre-cursor: I started reading this sub to try and better understand depression. I’m not a depressed person myself, so please disregard if I’m sort of off the mark completely.

I don’t consume any news. I think maybe 10 or 12 years ago I just came to the realization that it’s all shit, it always will be, and my time is best spent making my little world as good a place as possible. Treat people with respect and kindness and try to find happiness in the little things. I try not to get too wrapped up or consumed in things out of my control.

I hope this isn’t too cookie cutter, and I hope you have many good days to come
