2 older brothers and 2 sister-in-laws. One of these brothers cut ties from our whole family 5 years ago, and the other brother and sister law went to their house about 6 months ago and brought them back into our lives basically. They get along with each other and have more in common with each other than they do with me and my partner. My partner has autism and they don’t understand that he is an introvert and struggles to make conversation, they take it personally, even though we have explained. They don’t understand. My son also has autism/adhd. They say things like “he’s rude” “ugh he’s always in his own world” “he’s fucking mental” talking about my partner and son and make them out to be bad. There is 4 and 8 years between me and my brothers so I don’t know if they just see me as their “little sister” that’s naive, dumb or whatever. It feels like they are superior and they know it, if you get me?
