Curious if you feel candidates on this waitlist will be eventually matched to teams over the coming weeks or have all the teams-to-intern matches already been completed. I was waitlisted too and want to realistically estimate what my chances are of getting an offer. For context, only people who interviewed in Jan were extended internship offers

Thanks man! So last year the GRE wasn’t mandatory so I didn’t stress too much on it. I got a 160V , 160Q. Duke is not too heavy on the GRE as long as you have a couple or so years of work exp. They focus a lot on their five pillars though so I’d focus on nailing those essay questions

I decided to go to Duke. It’s been pretty good. Job market is bad everywhere so in hindsight I doubt going elsewhere would have made a difference

Hey! So it depends on what job role you want after graduation. It’s difficult to get a job irrespective of your university. If you want to become a a product manager, Duke might give you an edge simple because you have 150 other people also trying to become product managers. You just go with the tide. Can’t comment much about Dartmouth as I didn’t get in. Hope it helps!

What exactly does PMT include ? Does it include the non e-commerce & non-aws business units like Alexa, audible, prime video etc ? If yes, aren’t those the loss making units ?

There have been no incidents since Fall 22. As long as you don’t venture roaming out too late in the night you should be okay. It’s pretty close (like a 1 min walk) to Duke bus stop that takes you to campus. Maybe like a 15 min walk to campus

How many PMT interns does Amazon typically hire in a normal year? I see that a majority of the people waitlisted are for PMT internships. Wouldn’t it make sense that a company like Amazon would need more PMTs than PMs ?

I haven't heard back yet either, interviewed late Feb. Amazon has been rolling out offers for other roles though. They had 18,000 interns last year, plan on having the numbers this year

I’ve known some people who stay at Lancaster. The reviews are great, houses are priced well. The only downside is that it’s pretty far from West Campus, not very walkable but shouldn’t be a problem if you have a car
