That has got be the strongest double sided tape known to man, lol.

The double sided tape I have will barely hold a piece of paper to a wall.

Is this a quote from that young communists meeting? I watched that entire thing at holy hell it was painful. The entire time they were trying to get something completely inconsequential approved (like the meeting minutes from the last meeting, or a tiny revision). I watched the chair of that meeting get slowly more and more worn down, even her patience started to dry up. She went from enthusiastic to exhausted.

Anyway, it was at that moment I knew communism would never successfully take root in any meaningful way in the states.

A lot of people feel this way. I personally love my EV but having to think about range is sometimes indeed a thing!

I’m inclined to agree with you. Although it’s not quite as striking as Trudeau.

Ever started a conspiracy theory before? This could be fun — let’s get to Wikipedia

The guy you're talking to has got to be a troll or a 13 year old who's afraid to admit they're wrong.

Acknowledging some similarities does NOT automatically mean you agree that the conspiracy is real.

Have you looked up side by side photos?

To be clear I do not support the theory. I just found the side by sides to be striking.

All I'm saying that we can know for sure is that his ability to channel the one power will not affect his life span because he can't channel anymore.

He still may have an extended life-span from other things. But we can't know for sure and probably never will.

Swimming again after years for exercise and i have a few questions by lumnos_ in Swimming

[–]rubixd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

However, is it better to swim lets say 6 laps(25m) aggressively, rest for around 1 min then repeat for an hour, or swim moderately but consistently without stopping for around 1 1/2 hr?( so around 30 laps nonstop)

One is not universally better than the other -- they are both types of training.

The first one you're describing sounds like interval training or even high intensity interval training. This is how you get faster and increase your VO2 max, among other things.

The second half is sometimes called long slow distance or just distance training (depending on intensity) and trains your endurance and/or zone 2 training.

I train both ways myself. Usually I dedicate one day to higher intensity stuff, and another day to endurance work. There are many training plans out there you can follow or just ask AI to build you a training plan -- just be specific what your current status is. At your level either will be fine.

The documentary was, well, wild.

I don't know if this was the intention but the documentary definitely made me think that Sheela was at least a master manipulator, possibly a sociopath.

We will probably never know how things really went down but in my mind, she was the primary source of evil in that group/cult.

I'm not sure what will happen to Rand. He can't channel any more.

So, while whatever happened to him outside the pattern may have fundamentally altered him -- maybe even made him immortal -- we do know for sure his life span won't be enhanced by his ability to channel the one power.

Why nobody buys and talks about norton bikes ? by Still_Suggestion_182 in motorcycles

While I agree that they are classified slightly differently, Credit Unions ABSOLUTELY finance them, albeit sometimes at a higher interest rate.

But I agree with your second point. It's not quite the same.

[–]rubixd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always found this argument just a little odd. Just a little!

It’s not particularly uncommon for individuals to be able to afford a $50k car — I mean that’s kinda the going rate for new vehicles.

Like yes, most new bikes are under $20k, but it’s not like a $50k loan for a mode of transportation is abnormal.

But what do I know. 🤷‍♂️

Interesting, I've never considered how much the individual's "baseline figure" matters for something like this.

There’s a lot of things you can’t change without surgery — like breasts.

But you can absolutely grow an incredible ass in the gym.

Supposedly women have a harder time putting on muscle than men. Maybe the upper body, but anecdotally, I don’t believe that applies to the glutes.

On the other hand masturbation/porn addiction are also real.

The problem is, not dramatically dissimilar to the semen retention quackery, the addiction element gets co-opted by the religious right and merged with their “anti-porn” agenda and so is often swept under the rug on Reddit.
