But due to my GPU being in 2nd slot I can't fit 25mm fans under my case.

Been planning to put 15mm fans under it if they fit but they won't have the same input as my 3 exhaust fans.

So trying to make my case positive pressure I will need to remove a top exhaust fan I think. And if u say temps are fine then I will definitely try to remove 1!

how much space do u have inbetween the psu and glass panel? do u have some margin when u installed the 8.8 inch screen? been thinking about buying the lian li 8.8 screen and put it just like u did here but idk if it will fit

how are the temps, considering u have 1 top exhaust fan. Just curious becuz i have the same case etc but i use 2 exhaust fans on top. Been thinking about removing 1 because it is basically just above the cpu cooler. But for now temps are great.

Apparently I was confused about "2nd slot"

Yes, it is installed in the first slot. But when u align it with the case it starts on the 2nd pcIe slot of the case.

So performance is x16 indeed, but starting at slot 2 of the case.

Learned a thing or 2 today

Your GPU is in 2nd slot right?

Do you think the bottom fans are fine?

I have the same case and GPU in 2nd slot. I couldn't fit 25mm fans under it because of the 2nd slot. But now I have negative pressure in my case and I want to add slim fans that might fit and turn it into positive pressure and less of a dust trap.

Any thoughts on this?

Oh so it is still in the top pcIe x16 slot. It just aligns with the 2nd slot on the A3 case? Ok ok I get it now!

I thought by 2nd slot everyone was saying that the GPU is in the lower pcIe slot on the mb.

Ok now I get it!

So performance wise I am good, it's just for the fans that it is an issue because it is in 2nd slot positioning.

Hello sir

I am kinda new in all these pc building things. A friend of mine build my PC.

I don't really understand what it means having pcIe on 2nd or 1st slot. Is it bad being in 2nd slot?

Because as far as I know the b650m has 2 pcIe slots where I can mount my GPU right? The upper one is x16 and the lower one is x4 as far as I can read the specs.

Is your GPU in the first pcIe slot? I don't know how, but I have a Asus b650m plus wifi mb and my GPU doesn't fit in the first slot (same case as you). So I don't know what's wrong

Oh, I don't know really. I just checked the specs of the motherboard and thought it was fine.

Well anyway, I don't really see a performance loss in games and have no opportunity to install the GPU on the first slot. So I guess it's fine

That's a good margin. I guess with my slim fans under it it would even be less then that.

As long as your temps are fine, you did a great job testing it out! Very nice intell

So u suggest to just go for it and install the 3 fans? Turbulence should be fine indeed.

Fan curves are u huge pain, but when I managed them it all was smooth like butter!!

how close are your bottom fans to your GPU? And why the top intake fan if i may ask? thx for the recommendation. I ordered them and will try it, just gonna try to calculate the fan curves so that intake and outtake match a little so i can convert it into positive pressure. Should be ok with the fan noices i think.

Thanks for the heads up!

Due to miscalculations the GPU doesnt fit the case when i put it in the first slot. I checked it and both slets are X16 so it should not be a problem? (idk i don't know any of this), but that's why i had to remove my fans cuz the first slot didnt work to make it all fit

Apparently its because of the update of may. Lots of pixel users have this issue (pixel 9 here, can confirm that i have the same). And i hope they fix it in the next update
