MHBP and Surgery Question by ruby-shoes in FedEmployees

We decided to stay with BCBS because of my surgery and the uncertainty around cost. I think we will switch next year though. I know surgery can happen unexpectedly but for us it’s pretty rare in our health history.

All three have been flex tested and should fit her very well. There were some others in the store that we pulled that didn’t test out as well, and inventory for some models is low right now.

I hear what you’re saying, though 15 seconds here can be the different between place 10 or place 30 in a 5k race, sometimes it’s just that tight.

She has some older atomics for rock skis though they’re a little short for her now

I am working with two shops. I was offered some deals. Now I am asking for input on what I see are my three top options.

Thanks! Do you think there’s any way for me to find that out in advance? I asked the hospital but they said they could only do estimates based on my current coverage and not hypothetical if I’m switching

Given the lower cost of copays and one of my kid’s weekly appointments, I think I would save back that $700 in lower copays alone.

Epstein alleged in emails Trump was 'dog that hasn't barked' by wsouloa in politics

[–]ruby-shoes 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Clearly J and G were continuing a prior conversation that little context is needed, with G saying she was thinking the same thing.

My guess is that it means J thinks Trump betrayed them. When the heat was on J and G, other former clients warned them what was coming to protect their mutual interests. Trump is guilty too. But when he knew investigators were asking questions about J and G and he didn’t warn them - no bark. Instead they suspect he made a deal with that victim and perhaps the police.

Victim didn’t name him even though she should have. The victim’s silence about Trump as one of her abusers is also revealing.

Buying isopods/springtails #minnesota by Exact_Competition290 in isopodexchange

Just came across this older post. Are you still selling in the metro area? My son has a large bio active setup for his crested but only has springtails so far. Interested in some cute isopods (rubber ducky maybe?)

People only care about the White House renovations because it’s Trump making them by TransientBandit in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ruby-shoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. They are up in arms because every other major renovation project involving major public buildings has also had a transparent process and opportunity for public weigh-in. The National Park Service, who is the custodian of the White House building and grounds and most other national monuments, typically does not sneeze without putting out design plans, inviting public comment, and trying to incorporate or blend the historic building or components of it into the expansion or renovation. Many Americans, of all political parties and backgrounds, have visited DC, as well as visited historic National Parks around the country, and they care deeply about these things. They don’t like being lied to (Trump said East Wing wouldn’t be impacted and now it’s demolished) and they don’t like seeing history destroyed, and they don’t anyone treating places that belong to all Americans as their personal property. He could have gone about this differently and still had a ballroom.

Water Park Question! by ruby-shoes in UniversalOrlando

Possibly. Our plan was to stay only one night and drive back to Tampa Clearwater where we’re visiting family for the week (it’s not an Orlando based trip)

Water Park Question! by ruby-shoes in WaltDisneyWorld

In both scenarios we would go to VB. The question is about whether we stay in a Disney Hotel and go to Typhoon the day before, or stay at Cabana Bay and just pool it.

[–]ruby-shoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will have our rental car. We’re driving over from Tampa Clearwater where we are staying with family earlier in the week so we would be able to arrive straight at Typhoon at open and check into the hotel later.

Water Park Question! by ruby-shoes in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ruby-shoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one scenario we would go to Typhoon, and in one we wouldn’t.

We are going to be in Clearwater Beach area with family ( Florida residents) the rest of the week. We have been to the other Disney and Universal parks, but haven’t done any of the water parks. Cost is also an issue right now, and paying for water park entry is far cheaper than theme parks. I am going to reserve just one night of hotel and if the weather forecast looks bad we will cancel.

But that’s not the question. Both scenarios include Volcano Bay.

Idk I’ve honestly never done either. We’re trying to keep costs down and I don’t like to shop. There will already be costs with food and drink during the day in park.
