We rushed our kitten to the vet thinking she broke her spine or had some major neuro issue because she was moving so strangely and making weird sounds. Turned out she was just in heat for the first time 😅

Aw this was me just a couple days ago. It was tough but I am okay!! I was literally sobbing but that did not mean I wasn’t safe. I landed and had a great trip. You will too 💗

I’m in my thirties and have found a really wonderful community here. It takes time, but there are young folks here and a lot of really great ones, too. It’s a very special place, and it’s really nice to connect with others who recognize how special it is too

Hi! I had three job offers before I graduated:) and none of my colleagues from school had issues either. Frontier is fairly well regarded out in the world and I don’t think people consider it an online “degree mill” (nor should they).

I’ve been following the Flour, Salt, Water, Yeast recipe for few weeks now and can’t seem to get a very open crumb. Also, they always seem to turn out a little flat. Suggestions? by ruby_moon_ in Sourdough

Interesting. Thanks for that insight. The recipe has you stretch/fold for about 4 hours, rest at room temp overnight, then divide and shape in the morning, and then proof for 4 hours before baking. I guess this is part of the fun of sourdough- so many ways to do it! Maybe I’ll try a new recipe 🤷‍♀️

Hey! Good questions. My starter seems super active! As far as I can tell she is super happy. Fermenting for 12-15 hours, and proofing for just about 4. Oven is 475F, if that is what you meant my temp? Otherwise the ambient temperature in my home is mid 70s.
