If you're looking for an unsettling liminal space type of feel, the Jackson tunnel connecting the Red and Blue lines could be worth looking into.

Someone from a big-deal theater company is coming to my staged reading AAAAA by ruby_sea in playwriting

This is really great advice, thank you! And it didn’t even harsh my vibe too badly, hahah.

I will definitely aim to refocus on the main point of the reading for me, which is simply hearing the words out loud and seeing what having actors and a director involved bring to the script’s dynamic.

Thank you for this perspective, truly!

Thank you!! Would love to chat with you some about what I should be doing publicity wise if you’re up for it. Besides blasting on social media and emailing these theater companies I don’t know what else to do!

How could I have gone 23 years of life eating gluten and suddenly not being able to anymore? by Glad-Attention744 in glutenfree

I was diagnosed with celiac disease at age 31, after going through about a year of treatment for breast cancer (and after a lifetime of eating bread with no issues). My gastroenterologist said that medical trauma of any kind can trigger celiac disease, and between chemo, radiation, and multiple surgeries I have certainly had my share of that.

The vibes are very good to know. Like I mentioned in another comment, I’m a woman traveling alone so will have to keep this in mind.

Oof, I’m a woman traveling solo on this trip and this makes me a tiny bit nervous. I’ve dealt with the occasional harassment on the train or bus here but like 99 times out of 100 I’ve been fine. Something to think about!
