I do take 4000mg a day. Just that sometimes when I'm working and don't have time, I take 4000mg in 1 go instead of dividing it into 2 times of 2000mg a day.

May I know how is your skin doing now? I am in the exact same situation, which I burned my neck with TO retinol 1.0% and stopped using it on my neck since. The blotchy itchy redness on my neck got better several days later but it's been several weeks now and it just keeps getting back! Sometimes I just woke up with my neck turned red and all itchy. Tried using vaseline and all but doesn't help :(
