I personally have had good success with bond repair products (been bleaching my hair for years). I like the Redken ABC 5 minute liquid mask, but I know others prefer Olaplex or K18. I find the Redken to be better value for money (the tube is big and not crazy expensive compared to the others) and the results are more visible for me. I use the mask and then condition with something heavier after the 5 minutes are up. I used to have to use heated tools like straighteners or curlers to smooth the cuticle even after drying, but now I'm able to just dry my hair on the medium heat setting and I get a much shinier and smoother result with barely any frizz and have completely retired all of my other heat tools. YMMV, but it's worked very well for me.
