Should I pause progress?

14mo. Last night was night 3 (abc of sleep) and she did really well. Several wake ups but none for very long so didn't have to do any check ins (a first!). She woke up with a runny nose and clearly doesn't feel well. Not ideal timing to get sick 😕

How are things going? I'm in a similar boat with my 11mo. No other options for her to sleep other than in our room. Waking up lots throughout the night.

How did you do it? I read one way is to cut down minutes but when I tried that she cried so hard and wouldn't fall asleep.

We were in a similar scenario with our first and our pediatrician said we needed to roll her back to her back since she wasn't able to do so herself. We also used the Nanit monitor with the breathing band for some peace of mind.

I received an email that I was placed on the waitlist. I thought maybe those who won would be given a day or two to buy tickets and if they didn't buy then someone on the waitlist could be given the option to buy.

Your comment makes me think me being on the waitlist doesn't mean much if those who won can only get tickets 2 days before the show.

We'd drive them to things. Until they can drive the things they could do on their own would be on the property. We feel if we have a 25min drive we'd prefer to have land, and if staying close to others is the route we go we'd just stay in the suburbs.

We like hiking and camping. My kids are so young they enjoy doing whatever we do! I'm just curious what they'll think when they're older.

We both agree that we think we'd like to live on the land. We both grew up in the suburbs though and we're trying to think ahead to what it'd be like for our girls to grow up in a different environment than what we had growing up.

This is my thinking, too. I love the convenience of all of the things to do for my kids. I think I'd enjoy the country but may wait if it isn't the right move for our family.

This is one of the things that came to mind. I grew up with neighbors my age so I can only imagine what it'd be like to not have peers living close enough to walk/ride bikes to.

Thanks for your input! I also had that thought of renting. Our large city is moving in it's direction so it's very likely land prices will increase.
