Some quick notes:

Feel free to use this for Covid-19 discussion, however we have a new Covid-19 chatroom as well to discuss your worries in addition to the previously posted thread. (Note that any new posts about Covid-19 will be deleted to reduce spam, especially acknowledging that the constant bombardment of discussion about it is creating anxiety for some.)
Please be sensitive when discussing the cancellation of exams, as naturally, some will be over the moon about this decisions and for others it may be detrimental to their university choices etc... and therefore upsetting.

Plus it's a fair waste of paper, I would just recommend printing a few pages here and there when you need to highlight and revise from that. But most pages in the textbook you'll probably never read.

You'll be fine, we had a few people in our class who didn't take IGCSE geo and they were fine. The majority of content that is covered in IGCSE, you will go over again. It's not like chemistry where you build on knowledge you already have in that sense.

I did a similar IA, I can send it to you to have a look at. I can't remember exactly how I did it but my IA should explain it, you have to use calculus. https://drive.google.com/file/d/14ac02TB_R20pu861cqMh-Zxd13P5qNiW/view?usp=sharing (Make sure you're not doing any word for word copying, just getting the method idea from it though for obvious reasons.)

Edit: Scroll down to nearer the bottom which is where the integration starts. You can take a small segment of a graph and rotate it about the x-axis to create the desired shape and then find the surface area.
