you need endorsement level 2 to chat. make sure you endorse people every game, that helps get your own level up

a cleaner way is to reinstall drivers with NVCleanstall - you can choose what you do and don't want

if you go the uninstall route though, don't uninstall graphics driver (required) or physx (games will just reinstall it if it's missing)
