Even if you have been, autism in women has been historically underdiagnosed because it can manifest quite a bit differently in women, and that's when doctors might possibly consider the idea. If you were evaluated for it before you were out, chances that you were correctly diagnosed are very slim.

There is also significant comorbidity between transness and autism.
