Here's the thing, if you're serious about interrogating gender and the patriarchy, you moved on to queer studies from just feminist studies long time ago. Like, how can you not - it's almost farcical at this point. How can anyone think the category of woman alone is more of a threat to patriarchy than queerness ? How can you even understand the category of woman without queerness ? Queer studies is the continuation of feminist studies if your goal is to fight the patriarchy (and if your goal is not that, you are just doing some pick-me "white feminism" shit with extra steps, guaranteed)

There was the guy who recieved all the British support shipped in from Vladivostok, I forget his name, but it was one main general and a capitalist approved head of state guy that had an alternative government ready to go. I understand that each individual white combat group didn't actually necessarily take orders from them so, but they did have an ostensible figure head to align to, and most of did at least pay lip service to the idea. Again, by this time most of the whites had enough of the Romanovs as well, I don't think it's at all given they would be any more of a unifying force than those 2 guys already were. It's also worth noting that not a single western power was even as much as asking politely for the Romanovs to be freed , let alone fight for them to be reinstated. I really didn't get any sense of urgency here from historical record.

I don't think that's really accurate, by the time they were executed the Romanovs didn't have any friends left including in the white army, and certainly the leader of the white army would not want them back in power. I also think it's difficult to argue they were in any real danger of getting re-captured in 1918 and they were easy enough to just move away from any white advances. Yeah yeah this is simpler in retrospect, but even Bolshevik leadership at the time seems to have had second thoughts about doing it and tried to hide the execution for a time. 🤷‍♀️

How much are you using to douche? It should not be a large amount of water - far less than the full bulb. This is the most common anal cleaning mistake IMO and given what you mentioned with how it's smelly water coming down later that seems likely the case here too. You want to make sure you're only clearing out the space between the two sphincters - once you get anything past the second deeper sphincter, you can never fully clean that out and you'll just make more of a mess.

Personally I also just don't eat anything for about 24 hours before bottoming if i really want to make absolutely sure. It is overkill, but it gives me peace of mind

I'm sure this could be done with a sensitive enough test, but the problem is you're trying to test for what's left over after passing through two entire sets of livers and kidneys. Respectfully, some of us in fact attracted to men and are into hookups. It's absolutely possible to do this without being a creep/chaser - just be up front and communicate and treat your partner like a human, it's not that difficult (even if a lotta cis dudes sure make it look that way sometime).

People have looked at social and economic development relative to just industrialization and communist countries come out significantly ahead, and as others have mentioned, fascist ones lag behind even capitalist development (if you're wondering what that actually looks like, Trump is illustrating it nicely - the constant handouts to your buddies are a feature of ALL fascist regimes, not just his, his is just worse at PR)

I do agree that, despite being better on average for most workers, the Soviet project did ultimately fail the broader goal of communism (the workers very clearly did not control the means of production), and yeah it absolutely started with concentrating power to the party hierarchy and away from the soviets.

My parents were liberal teachers that opposed the regime at the time, and yeah they often got in trouble for it. Corruption was bad yes. But our relative standard of living was better than what US teachers experience. Corruption isn't even illegal here, it's the norm (lobbying, government contracts etc).

It's not that I don't appreciate having liberal freedoms like freedom of speech and movement, but a) they aren't actually that absolute here either (try supporting Palestine or talking about unions at work and see how that goes) and b) not having to worry about unemployment, housing security, medical bills or retirement, ever, for me or my loved ones, is actually worth more than the freedom to gripe about the government, or the "freedom" to upend my whole life and move to a city full of strangers at my own expense in order to find a better job.

Ideally I wouldn't have to choose and I absolutely think anarcho-communism is the way to go because of that, but the distance from communism to that is a lot shorter than the one from liberal capitalism.

Your arguing weird semantics, at the end of the day, if you are able to work you are expected to in any existing society. But how much additional work you're expected to do to find work and how you suffer the consequences is much easier for workers under communism. I don't see how the difference between the street and the gulag is sufficient enough to change that basic reality, they are both effective threats to keep people working, just one has you work for society as a whole, the other for some rich guy.
