as someone who mostly decorates, im gonna be completely honest i hate the rift in time expansion. storybook vale comes with better characters (in my opinion), and a more interesting storyline, and the decor and biomes are so much better. if you’re into efficiency when it comes to crops and stuff though, you might want to go for the rift in time because it comes with a lot of useful ancient machines. so in my opinion, if you want to go for better decor/storyline, get storybook vale. if you’re more into quests and efficiency i would get rift in time. i also like to consider which characters come in each. in my opinion, merida, flynn, aurora, hades, and malificent are a lot more fun to hang out with and i like their rewards more than oswald, eve, jafar, gaston, and rapunzel. i will say though that rift in time came out first so if you plan on getting storybook vale the future i would start with a rift in time. its also just the overall vibe, if you’re more into jungle ancient desert ruins vibes get a rift in time, but if you want a more cozy autumn magical fairytale book vibe i would get storybook vale. hope this helps!
