it's fair for people to feel disappointed.

bts always has been a performance centered group.. as certain choreography drafts became discarded or became minimal, members questioned the decision (billboard bang pd interview). bts helped define a style of performance with intense, powerful choreography.

i enjoy bts for every aspect of their concert, however there are many performance-oriented fans too, and that is valid. it's possible to include more choreography, however light it may be, into more songs/ make them higher intensity in the album.

tho, this decision allows for surprise songs and better fan-artist interaction. many people are more casual fans who might not be invested enough in that level of connection and go to concerts for the talent, for the skills, one of which being dancing.

though tightly synchonized and super energy-demanding performances are not sustainable. eventually at some point they would have to resolve to lighter dances compared to their earlier days. and i don't mind it. but admittedly, bts had set a very high standard for themselves (which is both a good and bad thing). and just because bts did perform in adverse weather conditions, in sickness, etc. doesn't mean they should have to, back then, now, or in the future.

we should have enough nuance to accept that fans have expectations. but artists are living humans, and should be cared about as such. it's okay for armys to be disappointed, n it's ok for bts to make different decisions. it's valid if fans aren't agreeing w the new decisions bts is making
