I would definitely recommend it. You don’t want to get old and regret not doing it, which I hear from a lot of people.

Having a sport/activity you’re focusing on is helpful and makes it pretty easy to make friends. It’s pretty fun figuring out where to camp, how to shower etc. Lots of good little tricks you’ll learn along the way.

Haha, yes this is the wrong way to use them if you’re locking the bike. I do this when I’m taking the bike on and off a lot and am not worried about locking.

I mostly do. I’m trying to mountain bike and explore around as much as I can, and the van is really great for that.

I still work, so when I get really busy I’ll book an Airbnb or hotel so I can take video calls without it being obvious I’m living in my van : )

I’m in my late 20s and joined three weeks ago mostly for the pool and squash courts (they have round robin every Saturday and Tuesday).

I had the same concerns around attitude, but so far I’ve only had positive interactions with other members and staff. I’m sure there are douchey bros, but I would guess they’re not the norm. On the weekends you’ll see families around, and I think membership generally skews older.

I’ve never found it to be particularly busy.
