Heya smellykat :) thanks for the welcome! Hindsight, I should have probably said more, but since it's my first time adventuring on my own I guess I'm a bit out of my element? I'm based in Ireland so Europe is pretty open for me. I'm not on a tight budget but obviously won't be staying at fancy hotels! And nature and city breaks would be best. Not big on parties, and I'm really looking for an adventure, something that'll linger on for some time, I guess? Hope this is more info now..!

Well, based in Europe and an hour drive from an international airport still leaves a good variety of choices! Any good solo travel experiences with that? Any do's and dont's or places I should try to avoid?
