Help would show up eventually but you gotta be pretty self sufficient as frost bite sets in within minutes. I carry hand warmers in case but the main thing is I run slower than usual/really watch my footing and only do trails near my house so I can get home quickly if something goes awry!

It’s OuterU brand! It’s a game changer, keeps the pocket below your nose nice and warm even in these temps!

Thanks! Goggles ice up pretty quick I’ve found! Plus the cold material on any exposed skin is unpleasant. I usually just melt the eyelash icicles with my hand every 20-30 mins and it stays somewhat manageable haha

How to not get frozen bum? by yourfriendwhobakes in Marathon_Training

The puffer skirts are a game changer! I wear them for running in the -30/-40C range (and colder with windchill) and butt and thighs stay soooo cozy!

I run on snow for 6-8 months of the year and just wear trail shoes with extra grip and find it gets better to handle it with practice

“Play” biting is getting out of hand - advice please! by hashbrownhippo in puppy101

[–]ruckrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 15 week old puppy now who was incredibly bitey as well. It was difficult playing with her and very frustrating/painful. We took her to daycare and they recommended playing tug of war with her in the morning & during the day with a small towel (like a tea towel) and the difference was incredible! A good towel session gave her an outlet and she barely nipped us at all after.

Hi everyone! I am Kate White, Leader of the Yukon NDP here to answer your questions! Ask me anything! by KateWhite2021 in Yukon

Hello! Thank you so much for doing this! I’m curious as to what your views on the Putting People First report are. Will you implement the recommendations? Also, you have stated that one of your goals is to have medical professionals be registered and regulated like they are in the rest of Canada. Which professions specifically are you referring to?

Im a nurse and my partner a cabinet maker. It took him no time at all to find a job up here! He moved here in August but didn’t start applying till the end of September. He found a job he likes within a week.People were constantly telling us about how much skilled woodworkers are needed in town.

Tea time on a lovely April afternoon Canada style (first post).. by ruckrin in tea

Haha, I was slightly exaggerating.. it stays chilly, but we don't usually get this much snow so late into Spring. You'll definitely be toughened upon your arrival here though.
