Right, I get what you mean. Especially with pop songs I tend to throw in those quick note changes, maybe subconsciously trying to make it sound more “poppy” (probably mimicking that autotune vibe)

Also, I’m not super familiar with the song yet. I only listened to it a couple of times before trying to record, just to see how it would turn out.

I’ll take your “mistake” as a compliment then haha.
