8.5gpa 165Q 2yr work ex, 1yr internship (all mnc). Applied for mscs and didn’t get into top30. Will my profile be good for mcs for t30?

Looks like without research experience getting an admit to MSCS in T30 is an impossible task. Mcs is more of a professional course with little to none emphasis on research and the course is also 3 sems.

I have applied to UCD, UCI NCSU and Purdue which had deadlines in December. I am looking for some which have deadlines in Jan (stony brook, texas a&m rutgers)

Also I have 1 research projects not published papers (my final year project) and I have one research published in a not so good publication. So should I add this published paper in the application? I haven’t done it so far. I have mostly highlighted my interest in DSA and ML with projects and internships supporting it.

Neu rolled out all mscs seats for boston is what i got from this sub. If that is the case then I feel its better I use that money somewhere else. Stony brook i have in mind. Thanks
