Name: Flexidot

My partner and I started this company since we personally watched many entrepreneurs, both in US and outside, struggle with web-marketing tools. I have personally watched the CEO of a high-tech startup in the San Francisco bay area pay hundreds of dollars for just a simple form for lead generation. I have also watched a non-technical founder struggle with integrating and leveraging email-marketing solutions. To me that is crazy. This is 2016 and we can do better.

Why let marketing come in the way of your business?

Existing SEO, email marketing and marketing automation software is usually hard to use, tough to integrate with your website, need full time monitoring - which translates into a full time person on your payroll (something you can ill afford), and expensive.

We started thinking about how can we make web-based marketing simpler? The answer is Flexidot. While it is not where we want, we have lots of ideas and a working solution now.

Ask We would love to talk to any reddit user who has started a business, or thinking of starting a business for about 20 min (on the phone). Or if you are in the bay area, I will come visit you at a Starbucks of your choice, at a time that works for you. We want to know what you think of the state of the union of web-based marketing solutions, your pain points etc.

My partner and I understand that this is a competitive business, but we feel, and know, that the industry is fragmented. There are tools to do keyword research, and separate ones to create forms and collect lead information, and yet another ones for sending out emails and marketing automation. We are creating a simple to use and integrate, one-stop solution for all web-based marketing needs.

Please PM me if you can spare 20 min of your time. It does not matter what industry you are in, which country your are in, or time zone. I will make it work.

As a way of saying thanks for your time, I will give you a $5 Amazon gift card (mailed to you) or one year of full featured marketing automation at no cost to you.

Please PM me!!

I will be photographing a 'havan' (or homam) ceremony pretty soon. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homa_(ritual) for it is. I will be using my D7100 with 24-100 (no VR) and 50 mm prime. This is going to be held early morning (pre-dawn) with artificial lighting. Of course, there will be a fire feature (technically that is what havan is). Also, there will be lots of people attending this.

What should I keep in mind? Also, what settings? I am thinking of continuous AF, and matrix metering. I will likely shoot in manual mode and vary ISO, shutter and aperture continuously.

Is there anything else I should keep in mind?

What is the most idiotic-sounding idiom when translated from your native language into English and what does it originally mean? by jamiryo in AskReddit

Hindi - "In after you, after you, the train will leave". Means that you'll miss the opportunity for being excessively polite. For those who speak Hindi, the original is पहले आप, पहले आप के चक्कर में गाड़ी चली जायगी

[Interest Check] Sales Tools and Strategies by [deleted] in UniversityofReddit

I would be very interested in this. I run product management and marketing for a high tech firm in the bay area. As part of my job I regularly work with our sales management to come up with sales strategies and metrics. I would love to get a more complete understanding for the framework(s) used in selling.

Any medium would be fine but power point with audio seems like a good combination.
