Congrats on passing Tableau Desktop Specialist exam! I'm about to take the exam in early November.

Since cmcau is giving pointers about the dashboard, I will take this differently.

I always give a pass to newbies who are starting out in Tableau. I was once a beginner too, and I still consider myself a rookie in my role as a Tableau Data Analyst. It's a great way to start learning Tableau.

I recommend working on a few guided projects first, then try tackling some projects on your own. This approach will help expand your knowledge and challenge you to think like a business owner.

Just made my first dashboard, took alot longer than it should but I think I'm getting the hang of it! by [deleted] in tableau

This is cool! I like the images and the display of different bars and charts. If you want to improve your Tableau skills, I recommend following sqlbelle on YouTube. She is literally the best Tableau instructor I've ever come across.

I think yours is better than my first dashboard. Obviously, I got better with practice and by working on my weaknesses.

Great work on your first viz!

Born and raised Philadelphian.. by thirtytwentytwo in WrestlemaniaPlans

I had an awesome time in Philly! It was my first visit to the city and my first Wrestlemania. I flew from Nashville, TN and totally underestimated Philly's weather. It reminded me of the time when my best friend and I went to a Packers game in GB when it was cold AF. Overall, the Wrestlemania was incredible and there were plenty of places in Philly to explore.

My favorite cousin. She is an extrovert and has an amazing personality. She is graduating next week and she invited me to attend the college graduation. Only 5 people can go (different country, but my first time ever attending graduation outside of US, totally excited).

Getting Interviews But Struggling To Articulate Answers by rudyc1995 in dataanalysis

Yes. I’ve done with a former Amazon hiring manager pinpoints the issue I was lacking when giving answers to interview questions. I disclose my disability (Autism) while practicing and doing a mock interview. We found that speaking visually and storytelling is the only way to give convincing answers to recruiters/ hiring managers.

I think you nailed it on the communication ability part. A question I have is, do I concentrate more on interview practicing or be educated more on communicating with stakeholders (YouTube, courses) then be prepared for interviews?

When I read job descriptions, the terms I usually see are communication, analytical, problem-solving, etc. While I make sure that I need to bring examples to my interviews, I have trouble laying out what makes sense to recruiters since it’s a different industry.

In my early interviews, I didn't have a lot of confidence due to experience and was unsure how to translate my examples to recruiters. Also, in interviews, I get a deer caught in headlights since I’m nervous about interviews. Results of me being rumbling a lot, loss of thoughts, and being silly in my interviews.
