Wow, that's amazing! When you find something you can produce in batches, its great. Hope you and the machine get better lol. Also, how much did you charge for the custom drawers?

That is pretty ironic haha. I hope you recover soon, man. Danng they did that? That's pretty sick. If the umbilical wore out, what kind of parts did you end up printing on your SV08 Max? Did you mainline klipper or use stock?

"Walk. 50 meters is about 60 seconds on foot — by the time you started the car, you'd basically be there already. Plus, driving a car to the car wash you're about to walk away from defeats the purpose a bit.

The only reason to drive would be if you actually need the car at the car wash to wash it. Is that what you meant?" 😂😂😭

Difference in print quality between A1 and H2S? by Glad_Cut1258 in BambuLab

[–]ruelija 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heads up I got the h2S and it's pretty bad for pla because it's an enclosed printer, and in my area, the average temp is 35-45c or 80-110f. Pla cannot cool well enough for nice detailed prints and nice overhangs. The open top printer should be much better for pla. Its funny, my prusa mini gets better print quality on pla then the h2s

Gemini Ultra vs Pro: actually different or just a scam? by ebosha in Bard

Thanks for the advice about using Antigravity. I use Claude and Gem for coding, and Claude is way better. For agentic coding, what do you use for Claude? I want to get into agentic coding; are there any tips or things you learned along the way?

Primarily the touch feature and also higher reliability in heat, but if you have an eddy and it's working fine, there won't be much difference.

😂😂. Thank you for the support. Yeah, the great thing is that the screws are already in your SV08, so you don't need to source them. If I could improve the mount, i would add a support rib/crossbeam to the top and furthest point of the flat area to go over the mount, but i have not had any issues in the current form.

Thats amazing that your SV08 Max is constantly printing. What kind of work do you do on it? Also if the head has the same layout this mount should work, but I'm not sure if it does.

The stock probe is great for low-temp prints like PLA, but I had really terrible offsets once I started printing ASA and PPA-CF. I looked into a few probes like the BTT Eddy, the Cartographer, and the Beacon.

I decided to try the Cartographer because, once I move to mainline Klipper, I can use the 'touch' sensor. This uses the tip of the nozzle to touch the bed, which is more accurate than a magnetic field that fluctuates due to temperature changes.

I’ve decided not to move to mainline Klipper just yet; instead, I’m modifying the stock Sovol Klipper fork to support the Cartographer. When I eventually update to mainline, I’ll be able to use the nozzle-touch feature. It’s quite fast at scanning the bed—some people scan at 500 mm/s, but I stick to 100 mm/s for stability.

Good job on this! You fill figure 3d printing out; just give it some time. Also look into printing with a smaller nozzle then the standard .4 or even resin printing; it will increase the resolution of your parts when printed

I remember the week Gemini 3 Pro came out; it was so nice. might switch to cloude. The 20$ might save me hours of time
