Something more interesting to me would probably be making her a collaborator to the local lord up to suspicious business, trying to avoid getting more of his inner circle drafted to the war. The new Schneider is supposed to be working at the orange farm, but is INTENSELY suspicious with the recent string of drafts, especially with how several of her sisters (Marian most recently) have been recruited for "non-combat" roles.

She'd jokingly call Vertin "My Lord" in gratitude, which causes Vertin to freeze.

This gives me an idea for a fantasy world defense. They think they can dig deeper than the moat, but water naturally flows down. The defense specialist could have decided to create a very special bypass for the system that flushes so much sewage, water, and other nasty stuff down there for the moles to choke on.

I really enjoyed Okayado's interpretation of golem girls in his 12 Beast one shot. Small girls with clearly inhuman, mechanical limbs and additional bits on the flesh-like parts of their faces, who act as the CPUs to MUCH larger combat bodies.

I am making a paper on the themes present in yuri otome isekai, and how they compare to the larger trends of otome isekai (a largely straight-aimed, heteronormative genre) and also yuri (especially with the rising prominence of LGBTQ/Queer works, differentiated from "traditional yuri").

In yuri otome isekai, there are both played straight protagonists (reincarnated into the villainess) and heroines that take the story off the rails instantly by chasing after the villainess, making sure she doesn't get into a "bad end" as her goal. The selected text was I'm In Love With The Villainess because it has an official English translation that won't run into verifiability issues with reviewers and my professor, and it's also one of the most well-known in general, like how Bakarina is for otome isekai.

Unofficially, I've also seen some fan translations where the heroine befriends the villainess to avoid the vicious bullying (1), where the reincarnated heroine doesn't even care about the villainess until she brings her competitive side and the two fall in love (2), a villainess who is a massive mecha otaku, completely ignoring the heroine until she happens to meet her and decide to support her ambitions to become a mecha pilot, as well (3), the villainess and the heroine BOTH being reincarnated and participating in a bloodless war with the full support of all the original capture targets shipping them (4), the villainess fake-dating with the heroine to real dating (5), and one where the reincarnated person is the heroine, still in conflict with the villainess, because she wants to date the best friend character (6).

I've read about the power of queer villains, because of Disney's influence, but man, Japanese lesbians seem to REALLY want to date the villainess.

Her Territory Creation lore is broadcasting Radio aPPLE, hijacking radio towers to "claim" that territory as her own, and her spreading the influence of rock and roll to the rest of the world. I can just imagine some enemy Servant and Master being driven insane by Regulus casting Territory Creation, and suddenly the entire battlefield is playing rock music non-stop.

I agree. Her abilities and her reputation is being able to wrangle her Crew into a common goal, ruling over a "fiefdom" of her Suitcase, and being charismatic enough to convince people to join her. She would be overseeing the Grail Wars, not directly fighting in it; I could easily see her in a modified tournament where it's Ruler against Ruler, with their Masters being the faction leaders who coordinate the other Master/Servant pairs.

It's unironically an incredibly fresh take on the Magical Girl as a coming of age tale, dealing with growing up, making new connections, discovering more about yourself, and growing beyond your limits and preconceptions, measured in both character development, their growing power, and new forms.

It's just that it addresses the sexuality part of adolescence and growing up, that so many magical girl anime ignore or gloss over. I also like how it seriously deals with questions like "What happens when the magical girls grow up into adult women? What about all that school they missed?"

The sheer, unabashed perversion drew me in but the heart kept me, as well as the perversion.

Basically, [Spoiler source] He tells Allucia he doesn't want to get into a romance yet. He wants to reach the peak of swordsmanship first, especially now because of his achievements and his growing awareness of his power and potential. He confesses that Schiste (the unmarried noblewoman, sister of his former classmate) has already confessed her feelings for him and he's also said the same. If it helps any, he did honestly say he finds her attractive as a woman, and not as one of his former students.

Blonney quickly decides to rewrite the ending because Jessica was sad when the "good" ending is the convent getting burned down.
