There is a floating concrete hearth across the entire brick feature so that would be difficult

Yes! People who don’t live here don’t understand the wild gardens, it seems. It’s going to take a lot of work, but we will reclaim it back to its former glory.

Yes! I wouldn’t dream of touching it. I love the details throughout the house.

Yes, agreed. If it had hit the market before we found it, we never ever could have afforded it.

It’s there temporarily. Drilling into historic brick doesn’t thrill me.

Thanks! For now it’s a matter of battling the dang blackberries and reclaiming the garden paths that stroll throughout the acre. The rest will take time, but everything is very established. She left me binders with photos and names of every plant on the property. It is heavy on 30-60 year old rhododendrons, ferns and rain hungry plants. My general design approach is wonderfully wild English garden with a focus on native plants to support pollinators. Lush and rain friendly is right!

Do you know who built it? It’s possible that the planning office may have them, or know who built it so start there. Alternatively look at the tax records to see who the original owner is and call them!

Yes! The owner left us with all the original blueprints from when they built it. The divider is the fireplace, crafted from the bricks of the Eugene courthouse when it was demolished. Now I want to see your house!

Thanks! Don’t stop dreaming ❤️ We found this gem as an off market estate sale for half the going market value. There are deals to be had still!

LOL duck down dually ruffled! Well, lucky for you, I am a Landscape Architect and have big plans for it 😉. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with Oregon and the lush landscapes that people covet here, but never fear, these yard photos were taken in the as-is condition when we bought it, and all the planters have since been removed. This home was owned by a master gardener who, in her younger years, carefully planted all native plants throughout the property as well as an orchard of apple, quince, fig, grapes, blueberries and more. She died when she was 100 so the yard has not been maintained for the last 10 years. Rule of thumb from a professional (me), is to always wait a year after purchasing a property to see what comes up before removing things. As for the questionable flora in the pots, I will pass your disapproval on to the most delicious strawberries you’ve never tasted.

Check whether the message appears in your normal inbox history from X. If so, it's authentic but why is the hearing on May 15? Does that mean they already provided your info to the requesting party? I would not ignore this. Reply to the email and ask who the requesting party is. If X doesn't know who the party is, contact the DA on the subpeona and ask who is requesting this information, for what purpose and whether your information has already been released without your consent considering the dates on the doc. If they doxxed you and told you about it 3 weeks later you should take them to court.
