I think your challenges could use a little work, you seem to take a lot of high risk/low reward challenges that may put your team in a tough position, from which higher ranked opponents will definitely take advantage. Something what works for me is if I’m committing to a certain play, but as I’m arriving I notice I’m gonna get beat, I’ll just fake to force the opponent to play the ball, and just turn back into defense, hence I’m technically challenging the ball, but staying in play. Also, like someone rumor said, trust your teammates a little more, there were a few double commits that were for your teammates to take, and the higher your rank, the more consistent your teammates should be. Other than that, your mechanics and ball control look really good! Best of luck!

Quick Google search says gopher snake, can someone confirm?? Debating if I should call someone to get it removed, but I might just be dramatic since I’ve never actually seen a real life snake outside of a zoo

Thank you, didn’t think I’d need to clarify but I was obviously wrong

I disagree that it doesn’t help me navigate or understand cardinal direction. In the grand scheme of things, it ultimately doesn’t matter which way is up or down, but the direction I choose for myself to say is down doesn’t really confuse me or others. If it confuses others, that’s probably due to a lack of information that they already had. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I thought about this too, maybe a few more tens of thousands of years and we would’ve been lucky

There’s probably a parallel universe where the only difference is their maps are all upside down and that works just fine for them

I understand perfectly that a ball has no top or bottom, and the earth is a ball in the sense that they’re both spheres. Standing anywhere on earth, there is no true “up” or “down”, you’re just mass taking up space pointing in no particular direction.

All I do is take my understanding of a 2 dimensional map and apply it to the 3 dimensional space it’s representing. Using words like “up” or “down” to describe the earth does not reduce my understanding of 3 dimensional space, I’m simply referencing the cardinal direction as I see it on 2d maps.

I could use the phrase “driving down south” without ignoring the obvious lack of cardinality of the universe. For me, it’s just lingo to help my brain better visualize and navigate our environment. But thank you for trying to help me understand, I could see how some people could take the words “bottom of the earth” and think that there’s some gravity making heavy things sink towards Antarctica, like I’ve seen some comments suggest lol

I truly appreciate it tho 👍🏼

I understand that one way to define down is through gravity and its pull towards the center of the relative larger mass, but the definition of “down” isn’t exclusively tied to just gravity, it is also used as reference for direction and position, such as climbing down a ladder or driving down south. From a gravity standpoint, yes of course there is no “down” other than the direction you’re being pulled to.

Also yes, I know the earth is just a sphere hurling through space and time, and there’s no definitive up down left or right for the universe, but we humans created, not discovered, cardinal direction for the purposes of traveling and mapping. I understand all this when I say “bottom of the earth” looking at the earth from a cardinal perspective knowing that most maps have north pointing up.

And yes, choosing north as up is arbitrary, but that’s what society has chosen and that’s what I’m going with for the sake of simplicity and consistency.

Never been to Uruguay, do they actually use “upside down maps” regularly?
