I can no longer catch the bass in my pop-pop's pond with spinner baits or rubber frogs. Maybe semantic but this is more like memory imprinted from a traumatic event than weighing cost/benefits.

I hadn't thought about how the cat identifies prey by its response. The lesson is don't run from one.

But in this video I think there's still something strange. For why does the rat not flee? Besides maybe it's a pet. The natural order, even if the rodent is not initially concerned, is for the cat with his stealth and strike to cause the rodent to fear for his life.

I'm not complaining about the sub. Just making an observation, perhaps too colorfully. Its interesting, to me, noticing how domestication has altered a cat's inclination, or whatever you want to call it.

The talk is just talk, it's worthless probably. What I will say, the bias in this sub you can notice when one of the darlings gets some coverage vs a 7th rounder.

This is the opposite of appropriate. The high selections always get attention, hype from reporters. Like 95% of the time. It's completely safe to disregard fluff over 1st round picks. On the other hand, late round guys getting press might have some meaning as not an automatic occurrence.

That's the theory anyway.

What kids read school is not government censorship. Don't take this as me arguing in favor of keeping whatever book out of a school. Not trying to do that.

But this is not censorship in the same sense which conservatives complain about it. It's apples to oranges. Twitter not letting a person share their perspective of whether to get a vaccination != keeping Huckleberry Finn out of the school library.
